You guys are the best.
Freedom!
Awesome work Crate. Looking forward to even more sleepless game time ![]()
45 degree angles for all buildings?! Looking nice!
What is that building in the bottom right of the screen (with the little pen looking structures outside of it)? Is that something that’s already in the game, or something new??
The important question though: When is it coming out?! ![]()
Sweet, free building angles! And I don’t recognize the double dagger (‡) shaped building with the 2 pens outside.

Yeah I can’t work out what this building might be. Seems to have raised beds for growing veggies, medicinal stuff, etc? Can’t guess what the squares are for.

I think it’s an upgraded version of an existing building. It could be an upgraded version of the Weaver Building.
BTW: Is there another unit capable of digging through rock formations in terrain like Zantai “threatened”? :v
It appears that weaving will be separated from tailoring. Luxury fabrics and a tailor’s shop may be on the way.
This is genuinely such a pretty little town!!! The 45 degree angles will certainly be amazing for organic layouts. It’s crazy how much it changes the potential aesthetic of towns!!
I haven’t played this game yet but I assume it’s splines instead of straight roads?
Looking at the 1x3 parks in the right bottom I think we get even more fine angle control than 45 degrees
Also between the market and the new building there is a 1x1 thing I cannot recognise what it is.
Yep, noticed that too. Judging by the red looking ‘meat’ (or something…
) on the tables, it really looks like it might be connected (product chain etc), to the new bigger building with the pens I would guess, since you can see what looks to be the same red items on those tables too?
I’m not going to need to upgrade my video card, am I? Also, a road with a proper curve.
Will there be a feature to select many plazas (e.g., a selection tool with masking options) to upgrade them all at once? That would be lovely !
If I had to guess - they will implement building free rotation. As with a demo of another city building game i have tested recently, once you found a suitable location for your building, you put it down, and before it is constructed you can rotate its position 360 degrees freely. If they add something like this (i dont think they manage to “loose” the grid system) it will result in a lot more organic looking villages, and I am looking forward to that.
However, i dont see how this shall be related to an expansion. So i bet its not, the expansion will be something completely different, while the base game gets free building rotation. Lets see if this rough guess will be correct.
Looks like a gardener to me, maybe an arborist upgrade - small trees are being raised in their little “tree school” before you go plant them outside into the field? Also, seems other plants are also being brought up there.
I suspect you are right if only because of Zantai’s emphasis on the word “free” in both the header and body of this post! Also, I’ve noticed that some of the buildings and decorations look very closely placed together in a way that suggests the typical grid placement is no longer as restricting.
