Aren’t festival poles supposed to increase desirability of the buildings around them? Noticed when placing them that they were not doing anything. Didn’t see any increase in entertainment either. Bug?
You already have one right nearby.
I didn’t realize they had a distance from each other limiter. Other deisrability increasing items like Gardens and other decorations, allow for multiple instances and the ability to overall increase the surrounding desirability. Not sure why Festival Poles lack this feature.
It’s the other way around - the desirability of almost all buildings don’t stack, and only the closest one of a particular type counts. Theatres, shrines, schools, hospitals, parks, statues, etc… don’t stack. The exceptions are just the small 2x2 and 1x1 decorations (bar the small status).
Dont forget Garden Path.
Yes, it’s 3x1 rather than 2x2 or 1x1, but I counted that as a “small decoration” nonetheless.
To be give another exception, the upgraded flagpole does stack, while the basic flagpole does not. Which, while we’re in this forum, is probably a bug?
I said flag pole, not festival pole.
My bad. Should have read better.
Just noticed this new issue with Festival Poles. Went to build one and I noticed it said 0 built. I must have at least 10 through my village. I noticed Entertainment is also lacking. I am going to build a couple in a section I need a bost to desirability and see if my Entertainment issues subside, but isn’t this a bug since it’s showing none built?
