Something to try out, spam Bloody Pox with Fevered Rage transmute, and then when the entire screen has sprinted at you, cast Ill Omen, and watch them all sprint in the other direction.
And let me know when you stop laughing

Hehe, yeah a video would be nice but sorry I’m not playing on the speediest of laptops.
But really, I was playing with this idea and it’s quite effective, certainly up to lvl 40ish where I am now, and so far no signs of slowing down.
Typical skill rotation is, cast Bloody Pox, then almost immediately after that cast Ill Omen. And that’s about it. The mobs get infected with both and run away from you, fast, and infect the rest of the screen along the way, with both, and … I must say, almost nobody makes it back.
I recall clearing out a hive (aside from the mini-boss) with just one cast of both. My toon was running just to try keep up with the wave of death spreading outwards through the mobs.
Devotion wise, so far just got to Huntress and bound Rend to Bloody Pox. Oh. My. Hat. You gotta try that. Planning to get Will of Rattosh and bind that to Ill Omen.
Of course, bosses are a different story, but I’m trying to supplement damage with skeletons (again … I seem to do that a lot), so while the boss is sprinting after my toon, skellies are taking pot shots at him. Seems to work.
The speed boost of Fevered Rage can be offset somewhat with Curse of Frailty and the dangerous OA boost to mobs can be offset by Rend and Wasting. But these are just precautions for bosses. Most of the regular mobs are running AWAY from you.
Anyway, interesting stuff. Would be nice to hear from anyone else who has played around with this mechanic. I have no idea about late game or superbosses. I image a raged superboss being on you so fast it would look like a teleport.

Most end game baddies have incredible crowd control resist, so fevered rage is gonna get your ass cheeks chomped. (Trust me. I’ve tried.)
It’s a FANTASTIC leveling tool though.
