Haven’t been on the forums for a long while (my gaming PC has been broke a very long time now and haven’t been able to afford another one), but just got an email saying that the boxed special edition I supported on the KS 5 years ago is finally being delivered.
I had pretty much given up on ever seeing it after all this time, to the point of when I’d get the occasional progress update I’d say to myself “yeah whatever”.
And as a result have not supported a Kickstarter since. Well, I am happy to finally get my boxed copy I had long ago written off, and will try and come up with the money to have a gaming PC again.
Nice to see that there is a DLC and a full expansion also for the game now. Hopefully I can be playing again before too much longer…

I got an e-mail this morning.
Came here to post the same. Boxed version (unsigned) is on the way, expected 12/31. I didn’t believe Kickstarter was 5 years ago, but, yes, May 2012…And I started with an Epic purchase, and then Legendary upgrade, back in Feb 2010. Quite a long journey. I haven’t played the game in a couple years now, but will probably update my Steam version and see what’s new since I last played. Expansion and many patches to soak in.
Lots and lots you’ll find. Just don’t expect any current characters to work properly. They’re probably too old now and without being played in the various updates are likely screwed up in one way or another.
Yes, it’s been a long road for the devs and fans, but well worth the wait. Looking forward to the new projects on the horizon and who knows, maybe another expansion for the game and/or a GD2 in a few years’ time.
Again, glad to see that the physical copies are finally being delivered.
