Finding the elusive Anoxis - A bounty that will confuse many

The black legion sometimes offers a bounty for Anoxis, the aetherial tainted insect boss wandering around the swarming hatchery. But, the faction quest states he’s wandering around the rotting croplands.

A newer player getting that faction quest would need to consult online to find Anoxis, after wasting quite a bit of time wandering around rotting croplands.

I think there’s also a boss in shaded basin in a cave that is similarly mysterious to find, based on the information provided by the legion bounty quest.

I think these kinds of things mainly frustrate and discourage new players, while serving not a single helpful purpose. Hopefully somebody will find the time to take a look through the bounties and make certain the text sends players to a part of the game that corresponds to where the bounty task needs to be carried out.

The bounty states

“A vizier in the Dermapteran Hive within the Rotting Croplands…”

The reason it states it this way is because the entrance to the hive is randomized, but always appears within the Rotting Croplands.

How would you rephrase it to be more clear?

<stuff about how dangerous Anoxis is here>

In the Rotting Croplands an entrance can to be found in one of several possible locations to the Dermapteran Cave. The entrance will have many Dermapteran guards nearby, to protect the Queen inside. Within the main part of the Dermapteran Hive or one of its adjoining, smaller caves, you will find Anoxis.

<bring a can of Raid, terminate with help from Terminix, etc>

Or you could simplify further and say

Anoxis is believed to currently be in the Swarming Hatchery, a small cave accessible from inside the Dermpatern Hive. You can find the entrance to the Dermpatern Hive in one of several possible locations in the Rotting Croplands.

This might stretch believability (How did they get that intel, did an inquisitor drop by while in stealth, or did they put a mystical marker on Anoxis to track his location?), or you might be comfortable with that.

PS: Many players are literal, especially when new. When a player enters the Swarming Hatchery and reads “Swarming Hatchery”, then they’re probably going to return to the hive thinking that Anoxis is not there.

PSS: I should admit that I fumbled the reading for that bounty earlier today. That’s clearly on me. I do recall struggling to find Anoxis on another occasion a while back, though, which is part of what motivated me to write this.
