Fire Retaliation Auradin (Purifier)

Hi, this is my take on a fire retaliation purifier build:

The build is inspired by the helm Gaze of Empyrion:

However, I’m not level 94 yet =))))) I’m only level 80 so I just posted my current build. It can face tank Aspirant easy.

I want to receive feedback on the build. I’ve been using Word of Pain since leveling so I just keep it maxed, but I’m wondering whether using another skill is better.

My focus: Max Aura of Censure
max Vindictive flame

Anybody have any comments on the build and how to improve it to clear higher crucible? I didn’t try challenger yet but I’m quite confident it can clear it. I don’t know how strong retaliation is for gladiator so I’m keeping the bars low.

Also, Do you guys have a build improvement for this at level 100 (which includes Gaze of Empyrion)? I’m still figuring out how to wear Gaze of Empyrion and combine with Ulzuin set for more Vindictive Flame points and fire damage.

The build is super cool and chill hope you guys check it out!

I’d recommend swapping your relic to something else. Your current Offensive Ability is really low (even for pre-expansion end game standards) so you’ll struggle to trigger the granted skill consistently or even at all. I would work towards Korvaak’s Deception, Ignaffar’s Combustion or perhaps even Avenger instead.

Your build is missing resist reduction (RR). This is important as RR acts as a damage multiplier meaning with it you’ll do significantly more damage. It also helps you deal with enemies that are resistant to your damage easier.

My recommendations are to start putting points into Thermite Mine and rework your devotion to take Eldritch Fire and Elemental Storm. You can also substitute taking Elemental Storm with putting skill points into Agonizing Flames instead.

I recommend dropping your points in Ulzuin’s Wrath entirely - the reason being it provides crowd control such as knockback and attack slow. This means that enemies effected by hit you less often, thus trigger less Vindictive Flame or Retaliaiton procs. You want enemies hitting you as often as possible.

Inquisitor’s Seal is also worth investing into. It’ll help you deal with tons of chip damage that otherwise add up and eat your health away like DoT damage.

Oh my gosh. I just listened to you. I take all the points to go in Thermite Mines and Agonizing flames and Inquisitor Seals and I could see that I got so much stronger and deal so much more damage.

I’m not level 90 yet to get Ignaffar’s Combustion but I will.

This is my current setup, after the feedback:

THanks a lot for your feedback.
