i have short question. I see the most Fire Strike ranged build with WPS. Now i ask myself is WPS + Fire Strike a must have? (i’m not a fan of the inquisitor WPS skills) or is Fire Strike only viable in the endgame? which subclass can you recommend?
Going firestrike without WPS is a bit stupid since fire strike can trigger them and thus boost your damage even higher. If you want spammable attack without WPS there is always shaman primal strike for lightning build(elementalist of vindicator, second one is stronger)since it work with ranged weapon
Weren’t / Aren’t there gear choices that give WPS-es? ranged DW (Gunslinger) relic for one example, some other sets too maybe.
There is also Necro for WPS-es that work with ranged firestrike
Non-inquisitor ranged WPS are pretty underwhelming. The gear based ones can help, but outside of chaos based ranged you’d need inquisitor to get a decent % chance of a WPS on attack.
The Darkblaze set with a Pyro is decent if you stack flat Chaos damage but it’s still not as satisfying visually/gameplay wise then Inquisitor’s WPSs.
Also the Darkblaze set lacks defence which you can kinda make up for in other areas but it’s just easier going Inquisitor.
There is also the harbinger set which is great for pyro and deceiver. Wps are a nice way to increase WD% so inquisitor is very nice. If you take a 2nd mastery with no wps you need something to make up for it. So offensive stats like more flat damage, attack speed, crit etc.
