First Level Is Blank?

Edit: I added a second region, moved the spawner to that region, rebuilt, and now it is working. No idea why that fixed it.

Im trying to make my first level. I had no problem following both the official guide and the forum quick start guide and everything builds fine but whenever I load into the level ingame everything is black. I placed a spawn and respawn point and a sun light source but nothing seems to fix it. The ingame map is blank too. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Did you use “Rebuild All Maps” or “Rebuild Selected Maps”? In the latter case you might have built no map at all, if your region was not selected. The black map usually happens when you do not click “Rebuild All Maps” or “Rebuild Selected Maps” with the region(s) you want to build selected.
