First self made build

Hello people, i’m 260 hours into the game and I now feel comfortable enough to start making my own builds instead of following them. I just got done creating my first one and I could use some feedback, it’s probably pretty shit since it’s my first build and all but I had this idea for a while since I got some duplicate Hagarradian Enforcers.

That’s a very good build! Here are some my thoughts:

  • You don’t have Rumor devotion! As it has -%Cold Resistance debuff,
    it’s mandatory for every Cold build.

  • In my opinion Piercing to Cold gloves are extremely valuable on this character.
    There’s a ton of Piercing damage everywhere waiting to be converted.

  • If you need more leech, you may go for Revenant + Yugol devotions (+10% ACDTH)
    it really helps this character with surviving. Although I really like Whirlpool visual effect.

  • You may want to put 1p into Blade Spirits as they may proc Blizzard better than Amarasta.

  • Bind some devo to Beronath! For example Rumor / Blizzard / Elemental Storm. It’s one of your best proccers.
    Better than Chilling Rounds. Chilling rounds is not the worst (although I think Storm Spread is slightly better)
    but can be really RNG dependant and you may wait quite some time before you proc Elemental Storm.
    So maybe

    • Beronath to Elemental Storm (needs to be procced fast and reliably)
    • Blade Spirits / Chilling Rounds (needs to be tested) to Blizzard

    Actually you may consider Blizzard to Rune of Hagarrad as

    • Blizzard has slightly shorter cooldown than ROH which is perfect
    • RoH with its multi-projectile nature may have very high chance to proc Blizzard.

    and then Whirlpool to Chilling Rounds / Blade Spirits. But I wouldn’t proc Blizzard with ABB as
    it wouldn’t work at all on single target.

but it’s a GDStashed character with probably unrealistic affixes, also it was before Hydra got Attack speed buff, so I’d take it now for sure.

Wow this post is a huge help, thank you!

I will definitely look into this and iron out some details when I get back to my PC. Forgot all about setting devotions to certain abilities, setting Blizzard to a summon makes so much sense, hell I even have Meteors set to my guardians on Paladin and it feels like it’s up 100% of the time.

Well I don’t have them yet, I just knew that they were target farmable so I thought i’d be able to get them reliably, however after reading your post and looking into them a bit more i’m now realising the drop rate on these things is abysmal and i’m probably not gonna get them anytime soon. Will do some SoT runs today though just to try my luck for a bit.
