Flashbang Transmuter Idea

I have a single point transmuter idea for the Flashbang skill.

Vanishing Act:

-the effect is centered on the caster rather than being a grenade
-skill becomes instant-cast

When playing a Saboteur or a Commando, I have this problem of Flashbang either not coming out properly due to skill disruption or going off somewhere weird. A melee character would greatly benefit from such a transmuter.

Your thoughts?

That would be awesome. Maybe increase the cooldown to compensate or something?

Losing the ability to use it as a ranged offensive tool and an extra 1 skill point spent would balance it I guess. Still as long it is uninterruptible and does not effect melee flow, I would not mind a slight nerf.

Heck yeah, this would make melee Demolitionist play more fun.

With the transmuter, do you think the DA reduction could be changed to OA reduction (making the skill more defensive) or would it be okay as-is?

I had this idea of building a dual wielding Saboteur that is all about defensive ability debuffs and critical strikes without investing too much into Cunning (like Scorpion Sting + Flashbang). So I would appreciate DA reduction much more than OA reduction.

Shadow Veil and the confusion from Flashbang should give enough defense against mobs for such a build.
