calm down kid.
Constitution works just as it always have been.
If you don’t like the game anymore, play another game and take your bad attitude somewhere else.

Rune of Haggarad is still very good skill for single targets. I have made many tests with my budget vindicator and she still kills the things she is supposed to with ease.
My high end vindicator I feel almost no difference in clear speed.
yes this is correct my example was a character that gets his “left click” so powerful that skills are kinda unnecessary… and using just LMB gets really boring to me really fast. I love when I can use 5-6 skills, and not just “add them for flashy effects” but when they are really useful. With dual pistols any skills you may add (damage dealing that is) are just for show, the DPS of firestrike+pistol proc skills are just way beyond…
I bet his constitution is down to 0 because he overused it.
Now that “poor english” must be some sort of a lousy joke? Maybe it’s not exactly well formatted or grammatically correct but it’s perfectly readable to me. And trust me, I’ve seen my share of poor English over the years. I’d know if it was crap
Okay, remind me to use my Oxford’s next time.
As for the Rune… I’m honestly somewhat torn here. Sure, if it hits perfectly it IIRC does 8 x the stated damage which beats most of the skills in the game. But it takes a LOT of skill points to get there and the 8x stated damage (in the tooltip) isn’t guaranteed; I miss with that rune a lot, especially when targets are moving around. And since my “rune dude” is a mage type, I’m on the run a lot of the time on Ultimate against stronger foes. I don’t have the luxury of facetanking them and allowing them to eat my runes within “bad breath range”.
It’s also a split damage type of skill; if you’re minmaxing, you’re probably going to benefit fully only from piercing, or only from cold. Either that, or you’re using a twinked build with lots of conversion to ensure it’s fully (or mostly) cold or fully piercing.
It’s probably best for heavily minmaxed/twinked players to comment on, I might be wrong about this; the rune never felt that strong to me, though. Despite the huge amount of time I spent on this game, I never really got to making "perfect’ endgame destroyers; I prefer to test new things constantly so I never get those fully minmaxed “meta viable” builds.
IIRC Grenado has a smaller damage output, but it’s easier to hit targets with it, it’s mostly physical (or mostly lightning) thus easier to minmax, and it always felt pretty weak to me beyond early game. Now with Haggard nerfed by almost a third, I’d say it lost a lot of wow factor. Hopefully it’s justified.
Yes to make the most out of the skill you need conversion, that is true for almost all skills and L33T builds in GD.
Also if you can’t facetank, then you should have no problem. It is the facetanking builds that feel the nerf most since the 30% less damage is only in the center of explosion. When you tank, you place rune on stationary monster. If you kite around monsters will get hit more often by outer parts of rune.
With my weak RoH build, I actually managed to kill lokarr faster in 1.1.0 compared to 1.0.7 since he kites around and thus not only get hit by the center of the rune.
But yes, I think more budget RoH builds will feel the nerf more than L33T builds. I made that clear to the game testers (praetorians).
For L33T players, 5 vs 7 min cruci is nothing. But for a lesser geared build it can be a matter of fail or success.
There will be more patches. If you don’t like RoH this patch, play another build or with another skill.
Personally, I think we will see in next patch either more pierce > cold/elemental items or just getting the central part have -20% damage or so.
Well, I’m not overly salty about the skill. To be honest, my Druid feels more or less similar to my Inquisitor+Occult build being primarly an AoE caster, so I can just use him instead. I ditched countless characters before - nothing new to me in the end!
Okay, maybe I am a little salty - I’ve had this Cadence+Haggard dude planned, based around piercing damage / stacking “everything to piercing” conversion, and he took quite a hit even before I started him
Hopefully the nerf will be undone, similarly to Devastation nerf which went overboard (IIRC it has been softened in 1.0.7, right?). And rune of haggard never felt imbalanced to me, definitively not a “early AoM Ravenous Earth” tier of skill.
I guess i had to calm down a bit, dont get me wrong i rly love the game thats why it can trigger emotional reactions. In my defense stumbling across 2 changes that had a bad influance on the gameplay wasnt “ a warm welcome” to the highly praised update.
First the itemfilter sometimes bugesout and keeps showing yello’s after applying filtersettings to rare.
The changes made to the constitution systhem makes the game slower. Befor the patch the constitution regen started a few seconds after not recieving damage. Now sinds the patch the ‘kickin’ starts way later dus making kiting take longer. The time between out of combat and engaging again is longer. Also trusting on recieving out of combat regen is more a gamble… making it less attractive for HC.
The extend of the changes/ problem is clearly noticable facing Loghorrean for example. Mele tanking him requires to withdraw to regen, he has this red lightningstrike. Befor the patch you could face him, withdraw (and getting regen) then the lightning was managable. Now without the constitution regen kicking in, the lightning hit is way harder to manage / survive. This is just 1 example where the changes to the constitution systhem makes a big difference.
Can you show me where in the patch notes that the entire constitution system was changed?
Three devos got their constitution bonus removed though but that is not a change in the fundamental system. Btw those constitution changes on the devos are FG only.
A friendly advice: If you think you have a bug, report it systematically in the bug-report section instead of yelling here like a kid.
There were no constitution changes. If anything it might be bugged but you’re the first to notice so it’s more likely you’re disabling it yourself
A friendly advice: If you think you have a bug, report it systematically in the bug-report section instead of yelling here like a kid.
First: The forum is for checking if other players experience the same issues.
Second: if you dont understand the topic or the informations shared in it (like the constitution difference befor and after the patch) plz dont respond.
Could you please not respond if you have nothing interesting or constructive to say. Also your offencive tone of voice is not suited for this forum.
Thank you in advance for adjusting your tone
LOL! The irony is strong with this one!
I guess you know the most about setting tone! LOL!
To change the topic a touch…
13 MORE DAYS TILL FG IS OUT WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I’m not hyped, just helping.
First: Is this the standard of “friendly tone”?
It is your post, right? In this thread?
Here is another post by you, very nice tone
(it is spelled WASTE, this is waist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waist )
Second: I have noticed 0 changes in the constitution mechanic, and I have already played +10 hours patch 1.1.0
No other player have reported your issue.
I think devs would have written in the patch and the pre-patch notes a few weeks ago about changes in the constitution mechanic.
Third: I have 2.4k posts and three Beginner build guides. Who do you think help most ppl here on the forum, you or me? Sure I have a harsh tone now and then, but I never starts any beefing. You have 10 posts and in a large % of them you are complaining and using bad tone and language. Go figure why I am a bit “mean” towards you.
Fourth: A forum is also supposed to be somewhat organized. The bug-report section is one of the threads that dev spends most time reading. So if you wanna get their attention post your issue(s) in there.
Thank you in advance for adjusting your tone xD
Now, can you show me where and how constitution was changed? Like any other source besides your own subjective experience?
I do agree that beef is super tasty. Let’s talk about food now.
Guys, please stop bitching already. You see he’s not gonna listen so just ignore this guy and it’ll be fine.
Yeah I need to eat so I can level up my Soldier. Will make a tanky panky Warlord with slim waist in FG ^^
I can’t believe I’m posting this for the second time today.

I’ll even throw in this.
"Just because somebody posts on the internet does not mean that you have to reply to it.
Someone post something that makes you really angry? Don’t answer. Or take some time to cool off and post in a mature and constructive manner later. Senseless back and forth internet arguments that are based purely on subjective or emotional responses are a waste of your time and ours."

If this forum doesn’t get back on track then further measures will be taken, is that clear?
The solution is simply.
Constitution system wasn’t changed and it’s not bugged.
Let’s get this thread back on topic, please.
Woooooooo.
