and there was me with the biggest concern being do i make a solider/oath or a oath/demo OR demo/inquis ^^
As with AOM, I plan on playing through the entire vanilla story before starting Forgotten Gods. Iāll once again read all the documents and listen to all dialogues. Since it was mentioned that FG can be started directly after slaying the Warden, would it make sense, story-wise, to hold off on FG until after the death of the Log?
Itās a separate storyline so itās up to you when you decide to do it.
Thank you.
So itās not the continuation of the events we witnessed at the end of the game(AoM), but a different (random) adventure far away? I thought the opposite until now. Is there any official lore order of events anyway? Despite of the playerās choice in the game?
As far as i understood / remember, the Story of Forgotten Gods isnāt an continuation of AoM, but moreover an Side-Adventure. However AoM still is an specific way connected because some dialoges might change in FG based on how/what you did in AoM(correct if iām wrong)ā¦
I kind of hope not. It was not my plan to also finish AoM before FG, but if FG is going to reference AoM in any way, Iāll have to. Did I say I hope not? I think I changed my mind. Any excuse to play more of any part of GD is a good excuse.
Im already playing.
Really nice expension. You will enjoy.
12 days left to enjoy dual riftstones.
The wait is killing me.
Replayed all my characters yesterday and yeah, certainly they feel different after a yearā¦
The +HP for cunning/spirit really changed the HP amount of all characters, physical builds no longer have double the HP of cunning/spirit based builds so I guess that opens up the meta more and you no longer HAVE TO put all your points into physique in Hardcore. However, it does diminish the advantage of being a big, strong, dumb guy⦠
My Druid really feels weaker, maybe the lightning ward nerf went too far or something :o and I donāt really feel the buff of skyshard. My rune dude actually performs better against bosses now, even though he got nerfed as well⦠:undecided:
arcane currents still feels MEH on my dual wielding aether-based reaper⦠but he sure likes more HP.
my vita-based 2h shaman/necro feels less damaging for some reason, huh.
my vita knifecaster (nightblade/occult) really likes the various occult buffs, more HP and permanent blade spirit (I donāt need macros anymore, phew).
primal strike rifle dude also feels less crazy.
Vita knife and rune mage are two of the strongest, more reliable builds I have.
Did not check my crucible dude (retal-based Soldier+Occult) since heās basically obsolete with Oathkeeper around - unless the x% retal he might get from Dreegās Evil Eye will suffice, we shall see in two weeks.
also, I love the Doombolt change. The skill itself is still sucky but an item granting doombolt proc is so fun now for vita builds.
Twelve moā days. Itās like two blinks of an eye.
my vacations start at 25th so I have to do all that important rl crap in two days
I just want to hype some people. 10 more days to go.
Im hyped allready! im still hoping for a sneaky early release gota get my oathbreaker build on!
Why would they release early? Makes no sense.
10 days is a lot
Iām going to get 100% achievements for GD, like I did with TQ⦠GDās Achievements are less gimmicky so it shouldnāt be a problem. Yay for completion with the influx of new ones from FG, my total achievement completion fell to 51%, ouch.
Since there will be no 3rd expansion, Iām going all out hopefully it will entertain me for another 1700 hours haha.
Already decided which chars stay, and which are getting kicked out⦠Reviewed recent buffs/nerfs and adjusted my team accordingly.
maybe I should do an Acid/Vitality nightblade/oathkeeper rather than Aether/Vita Nightblade/necromancer⦠then again necro gives a big damage boost with Soul Harvest and a lot of easy lifesteal with Harbinger of Souls. Losing those two skills would suck. You also ākindaā lose the awesomeness of Theodin Marcellās MI since it gives you a kickass RMB replacement that you lose the synergy for. Unsure if Smite activates with dual wielding weapons (that is, if it hits with both weapons). It took quite a few patches for Necro proc skills to work with 2W. Also losing mark of torment may mean less HC viability, if any.
It would be interesting though to try Yugol/Murmur and Cold->Acid convert, or enjoy an epic āearly gameā with Guardians of Empyrion + Blade Spirits out at the same time (sounds rather insane ). Manticore+Murmur+Nightās Chill+Celestial Presence, lol so much -acid res%. From the wording it seems itās definite reduction, right? it should all stack and go below 0.
yeah I think Iāll try thatā¦
He probably meant something like the 27th is a joke and in reality weāll get it e.g. 21st because everything is ready and Crate canāt wait to see us getting hyped as little kids who just got new toys.
Again makes no sense. a) still bug reports coming in as you can see on the forum and b) why screw with your customers that way? Giving them a false release date will just make them not believe anything else you tell them. Plus screw up those whoāve planned to take time off to enjoy the expanison. Great customer service.
So guys, since probably not many people bothered to read my TL:DR post above:
does Smite (Oathkeeper weapon proc) use both weapons when dual-wielding, or just one of them?
Smite hits with both. Ranged and melee.
