Yeah, I sort of wanted to hide them, but a) couldn’t work out how (I’m a forum tech idiot btw) and b) the thread is about what we know so why hide any info Zantai so graciously gives us when he’s in the mood. If he didn’t want it known, he simply wouldn’t tell us in the first place.
Out of all that long list the thing that has me most excited is Zantai saying he may do the next stream - whenever that is. As Grava pointed out in the previous stream Zantai usually only does them when there’s something BIG he wants to show us. A new game mode perhaps? Of course he also does them when Grava’s not able to for some reason so it could just be a double feint on their part. :undecided:

I’m used to how spoiler tags work in other forums, There, you have to click the spoiler button (created by the tags) to show the content. This is why i said it would become smaller.
Over here, using spoiler tags gives the same size but the content is blacken until one moves the cursor over the hidden text.
Using the code tags, it becomes of a fixed maximum size, and one can scroll if the contents are bigger then the maximum code tags’ size: quite helpful in situations like post #229, and you’re welcome
Thanks for that Superfluff. I’ll have a read and probably print the info off for use when I get my UK keyboard up and running. I know most of what’s where on my current German convert to UK layout, but brackets remain elusive. :eek: I can do the end bracket as that’s shown on a key, but where the front one hides is anyone’s guess.

Did Zantai mention whether or not we can play a character in the new gamemode and still complete it properly? As opposed to Crucible-only characters who will miss bags and reputation.
Not sure I understand the question. The new game mode will apply to the main game so presumably you can complete the game using it.

Yep, basically the new game mode is activated while in the main game, as opposed to having to choose between “Main Game, Crucible, and Custom Map”

If so, I wonder how the difficulty will work. Since we can start it soon after creating a character, the enemies can’t be very high-level. And if we wish to use an existing character, say, that just finished AoM on normal/veteran, will the enemies scale to our level?

I assume the area will just scale to your level regardless of how high or low.
I guess that’s the most logical solution. Although… a new character will be what, around lvl20-25 after completing it? Going back to Act I next… might be overpowered a “bit” :x
You are making an incredible amount of assumptions considering we literally know nothing about what content will be included with FG. :rolleyes:
New gameplay mode is shattering - we’ll just have to wait and see. If it’s something similar to rifts/maps system than it’s above shattering…but again…we have to wait and see before judging.
Not going south of Devil’s Crossing - not yet
Not expanding existing skill trees - 100% we are getting a new mastery, and imo it’s soldier based, if not 2 new masteries. We are getting for sure new skill modifiers on items, and perhaps new constellations, but for sure we are getting changes t already existing constellations.
Not adding new weapon types - VERY SAD !
New enemy faction and new allies - VERY NICE !
Removing level requirement for illusions - Not that fair…u should be able to wear illusion of an item if u can actually wear the item. It will also not make some illusions boring, cause u can have them from start of game with a new char.
Expansion will be one act - It has to be at least one act - it cant be just 1 new quest, it would not be expansion after. but 2-3 or even 4 acts wouldnt hurt
No new player models - dont understand this, but some customization for ur main char wouldnt hurt (like hair color, skin color, tatoos, have a beard, etc…)
New animations, possibly - damage conversion color conversion
Meet loading screen girl ingame, possibly - just meet her ?
Dual shields - no. Anything that needs a new animation set - not happening. - VERY SAD
No WASD - WHY ? With a follow camera it could make the game have 2 totally diff ways of playing it. would be really fun.
Not adding a higher rarity of items - just add new myth items, that req lvl 100, and make them like “a lil bit more better myth items” but still myth…so no new type…just higher lvl req.
Probably a new superboss - just 1 ? I think i already killed the blurry thing.
Expansion has an Eldritch theme - forgotten gods in the desert should have a ancient egipt ancient aliens theme…but as with “shattering” we have to wait…and…so far…the game…everywhere looks amazing, so not expecting anything less from next exapnsion.
