Game auto-fills empty job positions upon loading/startup

Title pretty well says it all but I will go into slightly more detail here.

Each time I load my save file the job positions I have deliberately emptied out will be full again. For example, I don’t need any farmers and foragers in the winter, but each time the game starts the jobs are full again and I have to go remove them from those positions so they become part of the laborer/builder pool.

This is also problematic since I am trying to focus my resources towards specific goals. If I only have enough hides to make shoes, then I want to make sure my tanner is turned off until I have a stable hide supply. If my tanner turns on each time I start up the save, I have to remember to check or I will blow through my hides and be left with the equivalent of one shoe and half a coat.

I can’t really describe this bug as anything other than minor but I noticed it so here we are now. For now I will check each time, but that doesn’t really seem like a sustainable solution (especially with higher population counts).

Down a similar vein, the game does not store overlay preferences upon loading a save. I like to see where all of my people are at any given time and this has to be manually toggled each time similarly to the job position problem I posted five seconds ago.
