Game crashes after 10 minutes of gameplay

Hi everyone,

I’m having a persistent issue with Farthest Frontier , and I’m hoping someone can help.

Since I bought the game, it has been crashing consistently after about 10 minutes of gameplay . When it happens, a Unity Crash Handler window appears, and the game closes immediately.

I’ve already tried a lot of troubleshooting, including:

  • Reinstalling the game.
  • Verifying the game files through Steam.
  • Performing a clean installation of the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers.
  • Updating Windows and all motherboard drivers.
  • Disabling overlays (Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience, etc.).
  • Closing background applications.
  • Testing different graphics settings.
  • Stress-testing my CPU, GPU, and RAM (everything passed without errors).
  • Monitoring temperatures, which are completely normal.

Unfortunately, nothing has solved the problem. The crash happens every single time after around 10 minutes, making the game completely unplayable on my system.

The rest of my PC is perfectly stable, and I don’t experience crashes in any other games.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or found a solution? If a developer needs crash logs or any additional information, I’d be happy to provide them.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello! I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing crashes. Are there any crash dumps being created?

Check here:

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Temp\Crate Entertainment\Farthest Frontier\Crashes

There should be files named crash.dmp in there. If you could zip up the latest few directories and attach them here or send them to [email protected] we can take a look.

Typically these crashes point to a graphics driver thing, but not always.

Thanks!
