Game crashes to desktop no notification or error provided

Dear Team,
I’m enjoying the game a lot, thank you for your hard work. However since I bought the game it keeps crashing, recently as the settlement has become larger the crashes are more frequent.
I attached the crashes report for the past few days however for some reason most of the folders are empty, I saw only two crash dumps.
Also please find attached the dxdiag of my laptop.

Thank you for your help!

Hi samba20,

It looks like at least one of those crashes is an out-of-memory crash. It’s possible that all of them are. I see you have 16GB of RAM, but with a large map/town I suppose it is possible to run out of RAM. It is a bit surprising to me though. Would you mind sharing the game where this is happening an we could at least see if there is something causing RAM usage to erroneously balloon? We do have more RAM optimization changes scheduled before 1.0 release.

Thanks.

To send the save to Crate please do the following:

Saves are located in:

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\my games\Farthest Frontier\Save

Zip up the entire TownName_###### folder along with the .map file and .sav that reproduces the issue and send it to [email protected]

If the files are too big, you can use a service such as Google Drive to share it with us.

I have shared the saved game file over google drive.
Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

Hello, this is the crash report of another map, the size this time is medium, and the population level is at around 300-400. The game crashed without any notification.
I sent via google drive the saved game file.
Looking forward to your reply.

Odd. This is another out-of-memory crash.

However, when I load your game, it is only using 3.5GB.

Maybe there is some kind of memory leak? Are you able to run Resource Monitor and monitor what the Working Set value is for you? Does it start around 3.5GB and then continually creep upwards until you have this crash?
