Game deals

If you have an Android phone or tablet you can get The Cave for free today.

And it’s over. Not sure if it was a mistake or just a really short term deal, but I got in just in time.

played it i think last year after getting it on sale.
it was incomprehensible to me. it felt like playing one of the elder scrolls games in a language i don’t know.
don’t know why ppl recommend it.

didn’t run into any total show stoppers, the combat systems are ok. but why you’re doing what your doing, i never got a grasp on. seems fine for a really low priced grab, but don’t really recommend it for purchase in general.

There is a wicked deal on at Amazon right now, particularly if you have one of the $5 off coupons for the Editor’s Choice deals…

Basically $8 for a bunch of excellent games, including TQ Gold. There are limited keys available, so buy early.

I have a Steam code for Rome:Total War if any body wanna trade something for it. I want Risk of Rain in case anyone is wondering. Also open to other offers if good enough

Not a bad Humble Bundle this week… especially if you enjoy racing titles.

For $6 you receive:

Overlord 1 (with DLC)
Overlord 2
Op. Flashpoint :Red River / Dragon Rising
Rise of the Argonauts
Dirt Showdown
Dirt 3

Codemaster made a Steam post yesterday that they are removing GFWL from Dirt 3 soon… hopefully they’ll also remove it from OFP:RR as well.

Always the same problem with those bundles… I already have half of the games :stuck_out_tongue:

Do you own Rise of the Argonauts by chance? Not to take this thread off topic, but the game looks interesting…

I have a free Steam code for Inversion but it is region locked to the Americas. Please PM me of you would like to have this game added to your backlog

Free to good home:

One (1) steam copy of Torchlight II

Recently grabbed it up on sale for my son, only to find out that a friend of his gifted it to him before I could. It’s just sitting in my steam inventory waiting for someone to show it a little love.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

-CLAIMED-

Yes, I bought it at release, but never played it much, since I didn’t like it. That has been long ago, and I don’t quite remember in detail, why I didn’t like it. It just bored me…

It’s a console port, I believe the controls were acceptable, but the camera was bad.
The game itself is basically cutscene -> very, very small inear level (mostly just a single fight) -> cutscene -> next very, very small level. There’s like four or five different swords, four or five different spears and four or five different maces, that you get as automatic unlocks at certain points in the game. Each type handles differently and allows different combat actions, but different weapons of the same type are linear upgrades - same thing with more damage basically.
Skills and level ups basically allow you to specialize on one of the three weapons types, and some skills for the shield I believe - and unlock additional weapon abilities.

I only vaguely remember, so probably not all of what I wrote is fully accurate. Sorry.

Thanks for the report  A console port… ah well. Back to enjoying M&M:X… Jason will have to wait

That Argonauts its a pretty OK game, not great, but interesting enough if you like the greek mythology thing, played it on the 360, but got it in the bundle anyway, I also have Overlord on 360, but its also a decent enough game, so didn’t mind having it on Steam as a backup. I have no interest in the Flashpoint games though.

Played a bit of Overlord 2 tonight - lol… had me grinning more than once

Humble Bundle has a big Sid Meier collection up now for the next week. I actually paid $15 to get some of the DLC I still don’t have.

All activated via Steam.
Civ III Complete
CIV IV Complete
CIV V
Ace Patrol
Railroads
+DLCs

the original DUNGEON KEEPER is free on GoG for the next 45 hours.

And not to forget these two promos as well -

I went for the second one and grabbed UT2K4 and Guacamelee Gold

Nice. Good lookin’ out.

Humble Bundle has, in my opinion, the best bundle they’ve ever done going right now:

Guacamelee
Dust
Giana Sisters
The Swapper
Antichamber
Monaco

With more games to be added soon. I bought it mostly for Antichamber, since mind-bending puzzles is my jam, and already own Giana Sisters (it’s really good), but all the rest of the games interest me as well and were all well received.

Drox Operative is on sale for 50% off on Steam.

And while it’s not discounted, Eschalon Book III is now available (www.basiliskgames.com)
