Hi there,
even after de-/re-install (steam and Farthest frontier) game does not start and hangs up in a black screen with mouse cursor and windmill sound. I think i recently changed something in the grafic settings ingame, but i find no way to reset this. Even with repairtool it does not work.
What can i do?

do you have onedrive installed? (turn it off) just make sure the save files are there.
according to Zantai the game can’t find certain files in hangs (should not happen
it should pop up a window and say it can’t find)
Check to make sure this directory still exists C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\my games\Farthest Frontier\Save and that some other program such as OneDrive has not absconded with your game data.
Thanks for your advices, but nothing changed. I deinstalled Onedirve (never used it before) but also my dir: c:\Benutzer\My_Name\Dokumente\my games doesnt exist.
I still think its a grafic problem. I played the games many times before, but after i changed some settings it behaves like this and i cant start it regularely anymore.
if you think it’s a graphics issue, then drivers are the first step, and you can run the repair.exe utility in the installation directory to reset the game’s options.

If the files can’t be found then you get exactly what you said happens
(black screen, game cursor is correct, you can hear the wagon/windmill)
could the graphics be an issue? sure but since that dir path is AWOL
well fix that and see what happens. you have to fix it anyway even if it is a graphics
issue.
Very much thank you. The Dir existed but in the OneDrive-Folder. I think i didnt understand you properly, cuz my english isnt that good. I completely copied it into the described folder and not it works.
