I am using hp computer pc for playing lots of games but many friends suggest me that i should go with some of gaming laptops which can increasing my gaming experience.
I want two help from my friends of Grim Dawn
Tell me which type of configuration i can change in my pc for increasing the gaming experience like Ram and graphic memory
Not sure from how you’ve worded it, but if you’re using a desktop PC then unless you get something stupid (but god I’d love it) like the Asus Predator laptop at only £9000 !! moving to a laptop will only disappoint you in the long run as laptops cannot compare with a desktop in performance for price plus you cannot upgrade a laptop like you can a desktop pc.
Unless you specifically need the portability and small size of a laptop…don’t ever buy one just for gaming. Hope this helps
Edit…regards upgrading your pc we would need to know what your current specs are, otherwise it’s all just guessing.
well, what i think is you don’t have any need to buy a branded gaming laptop. You can just buy a laptop having good specifications later on you can update them. such as: doubling/tripling the RAM memory, by increasing the hard disk memory and of the graphic card matters. Having a gaming card would increase the game qualitiy much better.
I am saying this because i myself have a laptop even though i do not play that much games but the games i play are totally heavy with high graphics. i.e Gta v. I have Coure ! 5 with 4 gb of ram and 320 hard disk with inbuilt graphic card and it works pretty much better for me. And i am sure if i will update the ram, hard disk, graphic card and just simply have a new gaming card then my lippi ( laptop ) will be no less then a gaming laptop! cheers!
I run GD on top end everything with my laptop…
MSI Dominator. Works just fine for me.
I also run more intensive games on top quality…Mass Effect 1-3, used to play LOL on top end, POE when I played it, D3… So Gaming Laptop isn’t a joke anymore. Hasn’t been in a long time. The only time it’s got a downside is when you want to play competitive online games at the highest levels…Wifi is just a little slower than a wired connection, so you’ll want to plug in if you’re playing LOL in Diamond, for example. Other than that? Gaming laptops exist, and work just fine, as long as you buy a good one.
A new graphics card or a new CPU would be your best bet (CPU is considerably harder to swap though…)
Suggest me a good gaming laptop too which can come in my budget too
that very much depends on what your budget is
Personally I do not buy a brand but configured mine at AVA Direct, gives me better control over the components because there invariable is something in the standard ones that I want something else instead and it is not available in their options…
Not much more expensive so to me worth the cost. Obviously you need to have some kind of idea what you want price/performance wise and need to stick to that for both CPU and GPU (so one is not idle while the other is the bottleneck), so somewhat more flexibiity but also more responsibility
As a rule of thumb, I go for the older generation Intel CPUs, there is next to no progress, so might as well save some money there but go for a high end GPU (right now that would be 980M and 10x0M)
