Geforce Now beta & Grim Dawn

I have no clue how Crate managed to get on the approved game list but mannnnn… Awesome!!!

“GeForce Now consists of a network of servers based in data centers in North America, and Europe that hosts and serves the GeForce Now game library to members in those regions. The servers utilize Nvidia Tesla graphics cards, and can stream games at up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second (sometimes even 120 frames).” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_Now

  • Got into the Geforce Now beta earlier this week and now I can play GD on my lunch break :grimacing:

(Guys n gals, google it for yourselves and apply for the beta at https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/ - totally worth it)

Here, what about me?

I have poor system and Radeon VC.

But the news are good, cool idea!

Well if you have a crap PC and like to play games like grim dawn with 100-200+ms of latency this is good I guess?

Well, i tried PS Now. It’s kinda cool for it to exist, as long as classic Gaming won’t die out, but it really isn’t my cup of tea. The Input lag alone was killing me.

For me, it was a great boon to my work PC. (albeit an i7 /w 16gb) But while I could pop a decent graphics card in it, I’m not going to cuz it would reflect poorly on my priorities at work…

For the record, my home system is anything but crap -
Ryzen 5 3600X | EVGA 1080 FTW | 32GB G.Skill DDR4 3200 | MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX | Samsung 840 Pro 256GB |
Crucial MX500 500GB | Inland Premium 1TB NVMe | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W
