Give Arcane Lens some OA please

For an component exclusive to pendants, Arcane Lens feels pretty underwhelming, and the only good trully good stat on it, are the flat elemental damage and energy cost reduction, so I’d like to suggest for some OA to be added to this component, so that it can at least be a bit better earlier.

Buffs to Arcane Lens were suggested quite few times here. I hope Crate addresses it in their next patch.

My suggestion was to enable it for a medal slot, because amulet slot has very tough competition in a form of Seal of Annihilation and Seal of Ancestry.

Giving OA to “Arcane Lens” would make “Arcane Spark” relatively useless.

I feel that early game levelling OA is not that big a factor. I find a high abundance of OA on self-found gear picked up as well and enemies are easy to crit on normal veteran so I’m actually against buffing it unless you plan on buffing Arcane Spark as well and honestly I don’t see the need for either…

I don’t feel low tier components should compete with high tier components like the Seals either. As you progress you naturally want to upgrade not carry the same shit you’ve been using all game

You’re joking, right? You DO realize that Arcane Spark can be used on both amulets and medals, while Arcane Lens is exclusive to amulets, don’t you? And OA is not even the biggest selling point on Arcane Spark… and OA is very scarce on elemental damage components and devotions, and saying “low tier components should compete with high tier components” is just pure nonsense, as giving some OA to Arcane Lens, would hardly make it better than level 75 components… not even by a long shot.

I didn’t say “low tier components should compete with high tier components”. I said
“I don’t feel low tier components should compete with high tier components” or to say it another way …
“Low tier components shouldn’t compete with high tier components”

My main point was that unless you’ve gone out of your way to make a terrible build, “early game” you should be able to comfortably crit pretty much every enemy. Hence I don’t see the need for that extra OA on a low tier component knowing that you’ll replace it anyway. For the record, if I wanted OA desperately I do use Arcane Sparks… Shrugs shoulders.
