I’m disappointed with the blood particles and effects, It’s even more of a bummer considering my character is a reaper with a focus on bleed, is there an available mod that would improve those textures to be a bit more noticeable/evocative/gore?

There is no such available mod as far as I am aware. However, it is quite an easy (albeit tedious) task. All you will need to do is replace textures and change particle effects.
