So, I’m new to the whole forum thingy, but it looks like a valuable asset to any gamer.
I’ve recently gotten hold of Grim Dawn (not going into detail, but got it from a guy I met a week ago) and I’d like to know how the heck I can check to see which build I have. I never thought I’d enjoy an ARPG this much, but I just couldn’t tear myself away from the game the whole weekend - even going as far as cancelling a date so that I’d have more time to grow my witch hunter character
Anyway, I hope someone here can help with the checking of what build of the game I have.
I’m just waiting for my Christmas bonus from work, then I’m sooooooooo buying this game! Any tips for future gameplay/hero creation? I’m currently playing as a melee character, but prefer the ranged combat style of gaming - the style where the enemy doesn’t even know about my presence and then they’re dead
Also, any idea where I can get my hands on a hero editor for this game? I believe there are one or two in the making, but I haven’t found one for download anywhere.
I was there up until last year September, then got transferred to Newcastle. If you’re in Pmb, then you may have seen (in fact, you must have seen) my company’s bikes cruising the town - red bikes with big blue delivery boxes on the back.
I see them plenty, in fact, I knew one of the drivers. Too bad you moved away!! Grim Dawn players consists of me and a friend around here and he doesn’t play nearly as much as I do.
Yes it was a guy called Matt, probably about a year and a half ago. He got “let go” because he never went to work because of some back problem and couldn’t ride the bike anymore… He wasn’t the most trustworthy person I’ve ever met lol! :D:D
That’s… pretty hardcore but do what ya gotta do lol
It sounds like he possibly downloaded and installed it from a torrent site. Chances are good that it’s out-dated and gimped… are you able to do quests and fight bosses such as the Warden?
Well, either way good to see that you intend on buying it legitly. If you get it soon you will also be just in time for the latest build - B28 - which will probably be live before the end of this month.
@Cloud_Strife: Hahahaha!! “Let go”, is that what he told you? He actually resigned.
@powbam: Thanks, bro!
I have no idea where he got the game from, but he did say it was the most up-to-date copy (I’ll be checking the build later). Yes, I can (and have done) quests, including killing the Warden (tough old bastard) & Viloth, the Corrupter. I’ve just started what I surmise is Act 2 (heading to Old Arkovia) & found and killed some dude called ‘Shanks’ - one of Cronley’s lieutenants.
The down side to buying the game legitly is if there is any download required - I don’t have huge bandwidth at home, only around 1gb mobile data. That’s been the biggest disappointment of buying Fallout 4 - 24gb download required before I can play
Hmm… I believe GD is somewhere currently under 2GB’s yet. When you do purchase be sure to rid your PC of what is likely a hacked version. Could cause some issues/conflicts.
