Before 3 days i joined Grim dawn from a pc in a network caffee store and i was playing with my hardcore character wich i lost …He died
When i logged today from my house and created a character with the same name as the previous dead hardcore character the game automatically created the character again and when i pressed play it poped me out and deleted the character automatically somehow…
I cannot use that same name again to create any character because it creates automatically my previous dead hardcore character…
It’s not something serious problem but it’s very strange that’s why i mentioned it…never seen this before
Well, unless you deleted the dead HC character it still exists as far as the game is concerned. It should show up in your character selection window. If you see it there then click on it and then choose the DELETE option on the bottom right of the screen. The game will ask you to confirm the deletion by typing DELETE into the window provided.

Thank you for the super fast response but i think the whole game is stuck cause i cannot create more than 1 new character and even when i get delete my previous dead hardcore character when he is created automatically it appears again when i create again the new character with the old hardcores characters name
Should i install again the game from scratch ??
i clear cashe also…but no results
Hm. Try deleting the old character’s file in the save folder.
If you have cloud saves enabled (enabled by default) your save file will be in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata########\219990\remote\save\main
Otherwise it will be in \My Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main
So
I reinstalled it again from scratch and it works perfect now…
Seems that some files as you replied above was corrupted and need to get deleted…nevermind
