Hi guys my question is when comes beta or full game i still have my chars and gear or its start from new???
its not an online game
chars are stored on your computer
so there is no way for them to delete them
it is possible that each update and patch deletes an item or deletes a skill making the old character incompatible with the patch, but the chances of that happening are just about zero
and it is an alpha after all, so we should expect some things to change,
just not that drastically
Just downloaded and played starting yesterday and already have a Demo/Occultist build up to lvl 13.
This game has a LOT going for it already… as many have mentioned, the atmosphere, the music, the overall feel of the game. Its dark, gritty, dangerous, challenging, and the fact that you can roam as you like is very cool.
I plan on playing HC chars the entire Alpha to get very used to the mechanics and different character build types, as well as the enemies faced. Already had one die, so started another 
If Crate can bring some life into the animations, which is my one real “lacking” element to this game right now (not complaining tho), I will have no need to stick with POE… in fact, I’m starting to feel less and less like sticking with POE. As this game improves I imagine I’ll be playing that less and less.
In any event, great job to the devs. for such a small team, you guys are doing a bang up job, and I for one am patiently excited to see more.
That is funny to say, since animations in PoE are bad compared with GD.
I believe animations will also be improved in B12.
Spent 50 bucks because suppose to have access to Alpha and Bets. GUESS WHAT??? Game search on steam NO GRIM DAWN, can’t download from actual Grim Dawn game site, WTF 50 bucks for nothing Thanks I really appreciate it

Who did you give your 50 bucks to?
Could it have been the Humble Store? Can you login there and try to find your GrimDawn Key? Cause that is what you are looking for, you can then add the game to steam using that key.

I am kinda wondering by full release if I can still redeem my game key, so I can download the game from you guys or humblestore. I currently using steam for alpha, and possibly beta. I prefer to play Grim Dawn without steam being in the way.
My understanding is that you will be able to either download from the Humblestore for the non-Steam version, or get the Steam version upon release.
I think Zantai had made a post to that effect at some point. I’ll see if I can find it.

I am entering the grim world tomorrow =D. Been playing Titan Quest IT + latest soulvizer for long time. I will buy the $50 package, excited to get in and also contribute to the game. How is the progress coming? This game deserves to sell 10m+ copies lol.

but progress is good, first act is available, a lot of bugs from TQ have been fixed, the classes in GD are really good, music is good, its way better IMO then TQ, but check up the live stream while its still going and see for yourself
