Trying to troubleshoot crashing issues, sometimes i walk through the greenerie smelling the roses
and BAM crash, no reason, no fight, no looting…just cause …
I can’t get DX 9 working. The great and powerful Google says to use the /d3d9 launch option.
when i do this the main menu doesn’t display characters, the background doesn’t load properly
and in game your game screen is black (except for UI and icons above NPCs).
Go into the options menu on the character screen and disable deferrred rendering. Then try launching the game from your Steam library using the DX9 option shown there.

Just had another crash, 90% through darkvale gate…sigh
The game used to run just fine, didn’t play for a year and now it crashes quite alot,
sometimes just when i’m walking, no fight, no enemies, no loot, no reason, just crash.
Tried reinstalling, gave me a 10 hour session before crash, then 1 hour to next .
Record is 2 mins.
BTW if are looking to run it in DX 9 too the deferred rendering option (video) doesn’t
show up if you launch with /d3d9, so first turn it off then launch with /d3d9.
