I’m sorry, but I fail to see how Grava specifically saying “but as some people mentioned in the stream that doesn’t mean you can’t start south and return to DC” equals to abandoning. Even more, he also said on the same stream that people shouldn’t rush with conclusions about the bridge - “No one says it will never be repaired”.
In other words, they are exploring other possibilities to venture into that area, that’s why it’s still, should I say, in development.
Of course it does. That bridge was there since alpha as far as I can remember. And all that data just hangs in the game doing nothing. I will only be convinced that everything is over when they delete it.
This too. Frankly, I really think this is somewhat a half-assed reason, since yes, surprise, surprise - we can actually rotate the camera. I also don’t agree on the part of forcing the player to rotate it, because it’s an in-game feature and it should be used as intended. Zantai also mentioned on one of the streams that he added the tip about camera in the game. All of the above should suffice, I think.
Although, I clearly undestand the issue at the same time.
I don’t understand how a phoenix would be out of place in Grim Dawn. A bird bathed in fire, symbolizing death and resurrection. Fits perfect. Give it an aether vibe and it’s even better.
I meant the screenshot is missing from this thread. He mentioned their next project might as well add the screenshot (even though we know nothing about it)
WC3 had those mods as well but i think its the sudden boom in MOBAs that put the final nail on the coffin
Oh this is gold, i am all in for the Aether Phoenix if that’s what we’re getting
There are myths in plenty in all of the Americas and I’m a little confounded by Gibly’s assertion =/ (I haven’t followed this particular conversation or how it came about so maybe I missed something).
South, Central, and North America’s have been inhabited for literally thousands and thousands of years and tribes and civilizations in the America’s have myths and stories dating back thousands of years.
Many of those myths actually mirror their counterparts in Europe, Asia, China. I for one happen to believe there was some kind of contact happening between the continents we are unaware of.
This is what i thought, until i brought it up on twitch when the devs were streaming For Honor.
I thought Zantai was trolling hard and being sarcastic at first, when he said “Witch? why would we do that?” But then Medierra chimed in and said that he feels the Occultist is basically already the witch, sounding very serious.
Oh god… I hope that you were dreaming, because if they decided to shove in aether damage on the Inquisitor, then my hype for the class will definitely drop to zero
The Inquisitor is supposed to be focused on elemental damage and to be the the “good guy” type of class, so adding aether damage to it would totally kill the idea of the class… if you want to add aether damage, then do it through a transmuter only, but DON’T FUCKING SHOVE IT along other damage types. :(:(
My bet is 8th mastery - the Spirit Guide - looks a lot like a “witch”, deals with the soul/spirit - would make sense to imbue aether crystals with life in order to make “aether golem”.
Well… We know it will have at least 1 chaos transmuter.
From the inquisitor reveal.
“Trained by the secretive Luminari Order, inquisitors were officially sanctioned by the Erulan Emperor to hunt down and eliminate all eldritch and arcane threats to the empire. This dangerous and thankless duty necessitated some unconventional means of combat, including using the powers of their very enemies against them.”
Anyway having more synergy with existing classes is a good thing imo.
