Grim Dawn: Fangs of Asterkarn Releases July 23rd 2026!

It’s a joke! :smiley: And it’s already 100k seconds below 4 million, so the 86.4k seconds of an extra day doesn’t change the almost 4 million amount.

We don’t joke on the forum!
This is serious business!

I expect that the first dungeon will be out within 6 months of Fangs of Asterkarn releasing, and the second sometime in 2027. Beyond the roguelike dungeons, we have some other surprises in store, including new item sets and our 4th Loyalist Pack!

Thank you, Crate, and stay indy. So afraid of some big company suit trying to buy you out after this sells big because I think it will. I don’t know why I keep thinking of what happened to Runic Games when they sold Torchlight.

Some companies already have, but Crate didn’t take up their offers. They like being indie and doing their own thing without pressures to meet unrealistic deadlines, etc.

whoa, whoa, whoa… so we’ll get the dungeons months after the release?
omfg, I’ll play it in 2027 then, when the thing is complete.

When FoA is out, where we can see the list of items, which are “ascendable”? Because I assume, not every epic, legendary or set item will be “ascendable”. Or is it going to be a feature or an information, displayed within “GrimTools”?

skeleton dungeons always released couple months after release

Check out the older GMs for more info! :smile:

Epics that can be awakened have a new icon visible on the ground and in inventory.

Don’t you need a third? If Zakull’s Anima is a tri-mastery set (Nightblade, Arcanist, and Necromancer), that would be 3 choose 2 = 3! / 2! = 6 / 2 = 3 class options.

So out of Spellbreaker, Reaper, and Spellbinder, which one is Animated, which ReAnimated, and then ???

Spellbreaker = Animated :running_man: :dash:
Reaper = DeAnimated :skull: :hocho:
Spellbinder = ReAnimated :palm_up_hand: :skull: :arrow_up:

Thanks! My bad, I used bad word. Of course I thought AWAKENED, but wrote ASCENDED…

Yes finally! Can’t wait!

I have a question that bugs me. I took a long break from GD around 1 year or so for med reasons ( don’t like to talk about). I start a new character and after i beat the Warden and i still fight in Burnwitch Village, I don’t gain any experience. if i go to Arkovia or forgotten gods DLC or Crucible, the experience bar start growing. I usually stay in a zone to finish all side quests. When i was playing in the past i didn’t care much. I want to know if is a mechanic or a bug I play on GoG

I cant wait anymore for FoA I am preparing a char to combine with Beserker class .
