I can remember when this thread was started, a couple of years back, now…fond memories. I am going to cover every request from page 65 forward.
After this you will have to go to the Utilities & Resource Section to get items for your character builds, from level 1 to level 85+.
I currently produce the Store. The Cat created the Store but the Cat doesn’t play. On about October of 2014 is when the first store appeared. This is the sixth time the Store has appeared on the Forum.
We cover items from level 1 to the future, regardless of your choice of build, in Magic, Rare, Epic, Empowered, & Legendary. Level Support Gear & Character Classes. All files are transfer.gsh. Hardcore.
Typically, for each section, the listing is broken down into sub-sections. For instance, for Rare: Amulets & Rings, Chest Armor, Foot Armor, Hand Armor, Head Armor, Leg Armor, Off-hands, Officer Grade, One-handed, Pistols & Rifles, Ribbons, Marks, Badge, Crest, & Stars, Shields & Battle Shields, Shoulder Armor, Two-handed, Waist Armor. (Slight variation between the individual difficulty levels.)
Level Support Gear: Would be all the other items your character would need to finish the game in style. For instance: Ammunition, Augments, Character Starter Transfer File, Components, Consumables, Crafting Material, Mandates & Writs & Warrants, Relics & Skeleton Keys.
Character Classes is a section that originally first appeared in the October 2015 Soft-Core Store, that was brought forward for the Hard-Core players.
Individual transfer file containing items for a particular build class: The Arcanist, The Demolitionist, The Nightblade, The Occultist, The Shaman, & The Soldier.
I will explain to you how to use these files: A Transfer file can only be access in Grim Dawn, if they are in the ‘save’ folder. There can only be one instance of a transfer file in the ‘save’ folder, if the extension is either: .gst or .gsh. For each file there is a backup file. One of the problems that people have when using transfer files, is the actual usage.
When you move a transfer file from one of the directories in this collection, to the ‘save’ folder, you will over-write the existing transfer file in the ‘save’ folder.
If you have valuable items, in your current transfer file, you will want to move it to a ‘holding directory’ of your choice, for safe keeping, because once we finish looking at ‘my’ transfer files, we will be putting your transfer file back, so you can continue playing the game.
Start and enter the game and run to the first Smuggler you can find. Don’t touch him, simply stand in front of him.
Next thing I want you to do is push the ‘MS Win’ button on the left-side of the keyboard, so you can drop down to the desktop. Where you should have File Manager open. Now see how close to this you can come to:
Libraries/Documents/My Documents/My Games/Grim Dawn/Grim Dawn HC Store/Grim Dawn Magic Gear/Magic Chest Armor/Magic 1/transfer.gsh
Copy and drag that file to the ‘save’ folder.
Now click on the 'Grim Dawn" tab in the program bar at the bottom of the window. As you re-enter the game, now click on the Smuggler, and see what treasures he has for you.
Let’s say that there wasn’t anything in the four window, that met your expectations, let’s look in another file.
It is important that you exit from the Smuggler before switching transfer files, because if you don’t, you could very well lose the contents of a transfer file (I have done that. It sucks.)
Libraries/Documents/My Documents/My Games/Grim Dawn/Grim Dawn HC Store/Grim Dawn Magic Gear/Magic Chest Armor/Magic 2/transfer.gsh
In the last window, you found an item that fulfills your wishes. Fine, you can either continue going through the other transfer files or continue on with the game.
Push the ‘MS Win’ button on the left-side of the keyboard, so you can drop back down to the desktop. Where you should have File Manager, still open. Move to the directory where you placed the original transfer file and move it back to the ‘save’ folder, and over-write what ever transfer file that is there.
Now you are free to re-enter the game and play as you normally would.
