Grim Dawn launches with black screen only in full screen

So this started happening a while ago, but it also is happening with other games and I wanted to see if I can’t get some help with it. So if I load the game in full screen mode, I get a black screen (or even sometimes just the Crate Entertainment screen) but the mouse cursor doesn’t move but the game continues to load and I can hear the sound of the mouse hovering over the buttons. If I load it in windowed mode, that works fine.

Other games that this happens to, it doesn’t even work in windowed mode.

Happens regularly to me too, but only in GD. I simply Alt+Tab away and back to the game to fix it.

When I Alt-Tab out and back…the mouse cursor will not move

Maybe it’s a good idea to update the graphics and chipset drivers? Chipset>graphics drivers.
