The amount of brain dead logic here, no one in the world spends money without 1. Making your character (the whole point of an RPG is to play a character no?) you play all day look awesome. or 2. make the effects of the game different to benefit you, visually or something along those lines.
It sucks when you look at every game in history and see them making millions of dollars because people WANT to spend MONEY on a VIDEO GAME to SUPPORT it and TO LOOK AWESOME. If this “magical” logic of yours was true to buy 10 games it would benefit NO ONE, because my CHARACTER I am PLAYING all day doesn’t look any better and still looks ugly. I mean just listen to yourself its wild this tight nit community thinks this is a bad thing lol. The stats, numbers, and player counts of all other games say… YOU ARE WRONG and clearly people play other games for many reasons but I bet you 1 is this. Ugly character, dated skills, they aren’t looking back.
People aren’t in an uproar simply because they disagree with you. We also already have new looking skills with damage type conversions.
It is a 10 year old game that was developed on a then 10 year old engine so I don’t know what you expect?
Sure there are other arpgs that have better, flashier looking skills. But advocating for what could easily turn into predatory monetization practices isn’t the fix for that. It’s not that we don’t want to support the game. It’s that we want one purchase to grant access to the entire pack of goodies we bought. Be that a loyalist item pack or an expansion. This has been Crate’s business model from the beginning and until now hasn’t been an issue. MTX shops with premium currency are something that I’ll never support. That’s just a personal choice. But by all means you’re free to leave us kiddos alone and go back to your adult community of whales and big spenders

I think you haven’t seen too much of “history” in your life to make a statement like this.
Also, there are 3 supporter packs with different sets of armor; at least one more is planned. What more do you want? This is NOT a live service game that releases new MTX every month; it follows a different monetization model.
