Hey there, first time posting, so apologies if this is ending up in the wrong section of the forum and whatnot. But has there been any move to try and make the world into a novel setting? Given to the right writer, or hell, the writers behind the lore for the game as is, you’ve got one of the most interesting horror stories we could gobble up when we aren’t glued to our screens playing.

Welcome to the forum. 
Short answer is no, not really. There have been a few threads made in the form of stories as people have levelled a character and there is an e-book of most of the lore notes in the game gathered together for easy reading, but a novel, no. Crate themselves have written all the story/lore in the game, but their focus is on supporting GD and working on other game projects.
The only book we’re waiting on is The Crate Story, a goal from the Kickstarter back in 2012, which will tell the story of the founding of Crate Entertainment, the struggles to get GD made, etc, etc. Whether that would be made available to purchase outside of those people who backed the Kickstarter only Crate knows. And only Medierra knows when he’s ever going to finish writing it!
