I would like the first state Grim dawn is a really good game.

My suggestion would be a bit more rpg devolpment that could be a dlc by itself,
I would like to see a bit more player choice as an example
What if i prefer Korvaak? I would love to be able to dismiss the Three gods and join Korvaak, and kinda choice the “Primordial” gods over the Witch gods.
I think this could open up alot of story by itself where we see and we can have a similar though on Aetherials ect.

Atleast i think this could be fun :D, and i think Grim dawn is a very good base for alot of development.
What do you think?

Joining the cult of Chthon would be great!

But the game is in very late stadium of development and probably there will be just few more balance patches coming out from Crate.

That would be very nice feature to see in GD2 though but that’s not gonna happen in any near future.

Why would our character choose inevitable demise by siding with Korvaak? Like in real life, you’d be given a choice to expose yourself to a deadly amount of radiation which supposedly could grant you “super powers” - would you do that willingly? I think not, if you know what’s good for you. Korvaak’s Chosen - as well as Bloodsworn - are insane fanatics that have little to no brain left in their bone-box.

this was just an example, but I dont think it is a demise it is a new way of existing being 1 with fire as Kymon ended up.

just wait for gd2. i don’t think gd1’s engine could handle flip-flapping faction and changing the structural flexibility of the story at this point.

that reminds me… when confronting korvaak’s messenger, our taken can ask if they’re allowed to join korvaak’s cult. but the messenger denies them because korvaak already formed a binding pact with kymon.

I personally love the smaller roleplaying touches that are particularly noticeable in Act 2.

Choosing what to say to the homesteader who’s about to burn down his home with his family inside it.
Choosing how to resolve the bandits keeping a village hostage but also providing protection against monsters.
The bleeding man claiming that his partner backstabbed him out of greed.
The man holding a woman at gunpoint and it turns out they’re both con artists.

Those little side scenarios seem to kind of peter out after Homestead.

Even the dialogue option to decline a quest (the X mark option), literally useless but it adds to the rpg feeling.
In Forgotten Gods there are like 2 dialogues with options I think? The one with three guys who want to join Solael’s cult and Kymon Chosen Deserters from Bysmiel cult’s quest.
