My guess? Malice, or perhaps Malevolence. They’re kind of evil you know, I mean, look at the game that they made!
After the patch, I had to compensate for reduced resistances and health values. After shifting some augments/components around, compared to my pre-patch values, I gained around 100 overall armor, lost ~200 health (from 8.5k down to 8.3k) and managed to get my resistances back to where they were (except for 2% aether resist). DA didn’t change.
But still, enemy melee attacks hit me for a lot more. I don’t have exact numbers, but it feels like 1.5 - 2x the damage they did before the patch.
Is it supposed to be like that? Did you buff monster damage somehow?
A new Blacksmith now appears in Tyrant’s Hold on Elite and Ultimate difficulty that can turn rare crafting materials into random items of Legendary quality. If your character is too low level to roll a Legendary, it will be an Epic item instead, but this should not be much of an issue for players not power-levelling through Normal/Veteran.
Kadala…
For me it seems you didnt really understood it then.
Legendary is legendary? Well i play a battlemage and i get conjurer or saboteur legendary, for me that equals like i didnt got anything, i cba to reroll for another class atm and not very likely for the nearest future, i want to play my battlemage for the maximum, so no, legendary is legendary sound like your obsessed about them.
High chance you say? based on what? this is not smart loot like you mentioned for diablo, its pure rng, and may end up for not getting the needed items for long time.
You say items that fit my build, let me ask you, what is your goal why you play this game? for me its the item hunt and i mean items that making my battlemage stronger. Couldnt care less about 1000 legendaries for other/another character.Yes i know, this game value is about rerollin another toons still i expect to get items for my character i farm with.
I wrote many things in my first post but based on your replies, i cant talk about the game with a legendary obsessed player.
“legendary is legendary” really…
People who have been playing a while care a LOT about offensive constellations…the nerfs to defensive constellations are an indirect buff to offensive ones.
I hate not finding game patch notes. But this is not the case. “Scavenge”? The official forums is the first place you search for a games patchnotes.
If you didn’t know it and have to “scavenge”, ok, now you do. Next game you can’t find the patchnotes, just check the official forum.
I understood. Dont worry.
I like the rng loot and hope crate will never change it!
I’m out. The discussion is pointless
If only you could also play the Steam version offline. Oh, wait…
“People who have been playing a while”. This concept is irrelevant to me.
Anyway, I’m wondering when last you played this game, because you are very, very wrong.
Uberjager’s build is not a glass cannon in spite of having 0 phsyique.
Hey, guys.
Please re-check this. It seems that some faction armor (well, DC and BL 100%, didn’t check others) was maaaybe saw too much Ph req. reduction. Cause there is no way I’d call going from 984 Ph required to 571 a slight nerf
Especially comparing them with lower level non-faction armour pieces with higher req.
Also thanks for silent-fixing empowered slime bolter, now the base stats is better than non-emp version. Could you also check to see +% acid damage bonus got back on empowered version? See pic, notice how lower version have both +% acid and +% poison, but empowered have only poison left:
As for other changes, I’ll just play the game for now, and maybe cry later
EDIT: sorry, messed up with image link, should be fine now.
Treasure Troves are completely broken at the moment with both their placement (the Foggy Bank cavern one is ridiculously easy to reach) and their drops.
Did 20 runs just to check it, got 6 legendaries AND crafting mats AND recipes. Also killed Primordian and occasional hero mobs around to compare (and it took 90% of the time, compared to just raiding TT), got 5 epics out of mobs.
I’m noticing an unusual high drop rate of epics and legendaries in the first 30 min of play after patch. Just looking for the undead nemesis (since I maxed out their rep after the updaate) I’ve gotten 3 legendaries, 4 epics and a buttload of rare items with nice prefixes and afixes. Plus the only trove chest I found got me a terror blueprint and a blood of cthon.
Has the item droprate from heros been changed?
Is it weird that I’m laughing at this?
Whoooo boy. That’s a lot of unpopular changes to shoehorn into one hotfix.
I really hate the changes, but they were probably all warranted, and I am trying to be optimistic about it.
I just wish there was something in here that brought damage up if survivability is getting a across the board nerf. Should I be able to face tank something on a DPS focused character for 45 seconds? No. But then it shouldn’t take me that full 45 seconds to kill it. It makes me worried you are balancing yourself into a corner.
Agreed.
As I stated above I’m getting the feeling that the overall droprate of things is too much. I already felt that the legendary drop rate was a bit too high lately (And I’m only playing through Elite, not actively farming it yet). Plus with Leg crafting now, these overall just seems too increased in drop rate and easy to get which kinda disappoints me
I deleted all of my characters on Feb 25th and have completely started over. My DEE witchblade is lvl 83, has farmed up all but one or 2 plans, and killed Ultimate Log, and I have several others up into the lvl 15-30 range while I figure out which one to get more serious about next. Oh, and I play hardcore. I’m not a no-lifer, but I’ve probably averaged ~ 5 hrs per day since the game went live.
I found it ludicrous to recommend only-defensive constellations even before this patch. My view is that the devs are just further refining the constellations so that people will be more likely to choose a variety of different constellations. And having true endgame gear for your build(s) certainly gives you more options for Constellations, at least in my experience.
If I had a complaint, it would probably be this. It just feels too easy to obtain high-powered gear now.
Sure, that’s a given. I just think they did it the wrong way now. Maybe you’ve got a cool build which doesn’t need it, but I stand by my point that nerfing defensive constellations is not a buff to offensive ones.
I’m curious though, would you be so kind as to share your DEE build on grimcalc?
I won’t argue with you there.
- Rush to 85, put all points into cunning: +24
- You still need 12 more cunning, get from devotions, gear, or perhaps emeralds in rings as placeholder.
Any chance you can fix the shitty control scheme
Wendigo Totem isn’t lighting. Yes, it works better if you melee, but I’m sure that’s by design. I’ve seen your comment several times in this thread, but you’re the only one talking about it. Perhaps you should go to the Builds forum for advice because it sounds like you’ve made some odd decisions with the way you play.
