Language: English… Anyway I fixed it by verifying integrity of game cache
As a GoG user, I don’t mind not having the update this time around…
But when 1.0.0.5 hits, can Crate make sure all the changes in this hotfix 2 will be included for GoG?
Thanks that Multiplayer is great again
Sorry but as a GOG user too we paid for this game and not having the patch its awful customer service, i dont know who to blame but either way its not a responisible behaviour from GOG or Crate.
So as a GOG user i was forced to enable another version of GD on my steam to play the game as everyone else. That is frustrated.
The hotfix was submitted to GOG and should be live soon as well.
Sometimes Steam gets their due first, sometimes GOG…last 2 updates GOG had theirs early.
EDIT: It is live on GOG now.
Most of the previous updates went live on GOG first. This time it worked out to be Steam. It is difficult to time the releases on both platforms because GOG is in a time zone six hours ahead of us and we have to send them the build and wait for them to release it. With Steam, we can upload and release the build ourselves without any involvement from Valve.
you missed your chance to be evil medierra!
Damn, good point!
i lost 500 health in the patch, but i can’t figure out what changed. playing 57 warder.
Such is life. No big deal Crate. I buy games on steam and GOG and deal with the issues that come up as they come on both platforms. No big deal in the end.
You guys always come through. Thanks for this update and it has been a cool journey following this game and finally being able to play it!
Congrats!
After This patch i went from about 5500 HP to 4700. Played took one level, no skills changed no gear changes. Logged out, logged in. Now 4400 Hp…
Anyone care to explain this? had no buffs, no change in gear. Did you double patch nerf my soldier?
I am new to game, bought it a week ago.
Great! Will download that and have some more fun. Thanks Crate.
Probably something from the undocumented changes that were included in this hotfix but won’t be noted until the v1.0.0.5 patch notes.
how to download this patch 1.0.0.4? thank you!
If you’re on Steam it should auto-update. If you’re on GoG do whatever GoG users do to update.

First, how do i check if have 1.0.0.4 hotfix 2? Since from this statement, compared to the game that was horrendous for multiplayer before that, should imply that multiplayer would now be a viable option for a released game that states that multiplayer is part of the retail.
We are all using steam, and i’m almost furious from the fact that 5 of my friends several months back, and another today when seeing this not, bought this game for the multiplayer experience, however we (STILL) experience issues such as:
-
Game freezing when people logged in and out of the server
-
Game freezes at random
-
Team members becomes invisible/disappears, lags around, or is shown as idle at some random spot on the minimap, especially for the three players that did not make the server
-
Attack motions/casting stop, while damage is still going around in a fight, so any “support” spells cannot be landed and things die at random since no spells or attacks are shown.
Is this the current sad state of the multiplayer game, has steam not yet implemented this hotfix 2, or are we lacking wisdom and doing something entirely wrong when attempting to have a nice experience with this game that otherwise feels fantastic?.
About freezing. It seems that Hotfix 2 solved crash during exit to main menu event. At least for me. To this time no crash occurred during exit to main menu event.
The freezing when trying to exit wasn’t fixed to me in hotfix 1 like Zantai said. It was actually fixed in hotfix 2. So far no freezes since hotfix 2.
Now i jynxed, didn’t i?
The performance/heating issue I had since B28 has been mostly fixed by the hotfix 2, thank you very much Crate team!
I still get the crash if I exit to desktop from in game. Seems that exit to main menu works most of the time though to avoid the crashes. I’ll to the alt+crlt+del, arrow down twice to log off. I will have an error message saying “out of memory” with a bunch of numbers behind it…
