Grim Dawn Version 1.0.1.0

What if we tried this radical thing where we took a modifier for just one skill, but then made it work with 3 different skills instead; except you don’t need all 3 abilities to benefit from it.

Nightblade does not have an Exclusive skill either.

I mean no offense but why is it that GoG receives patches late than steam? I just found this weird

Btw love the changes guys, except for PS (torrent still doesn’t add anything) and Blade Trap (still too far in the mastery bar and still not usable on bosses)

Loved how you completely eradicated Armor reduction

nice improvement for my crappy hardware, now with better frame per second perfomance!

We can push to Steam ourselves. GoG has a review process.

Although GOG is changing that, so that may not be a problem in the future.

Oh okay, thanks. More trivia in my head thanks to this response

Oh wow, highlight is definitely the Beronath change.
I’d been taking a break from GD until the XP, but this makes me want to play again.

The 2H weapon damage boost is good, too.

Blind Fury: replaced Armor Reduction with 8 Physical Resist Reduction

What if :

Blind Fury: replaced Armor Reduction with -%8 Physical Resist Reduction?:stuck_out_tongue:

Since the first doesn’t stack with break morale.

Literally impossible.

I see. Is it because it doesn’t “tick” like eldritch fire and aether bomb? Oh well, one can only ask

It is not a debuff, so it cannot affect character stats in such a way.

This is such an awesome update! Really, really impressed.

Even though a lot of people hate on bloody box, it is the main skill for one of my favourite characters and I am very happy to see the love pox got in this update!

Thank you so much

Also did the graphics get an update too? It looks a lot crisper and more refined then when I last played.

I love the IDEA of Pox. If it actually worked to clear out Trash into Ultimate… I’d love Pox itself. Maybe with the new update that’ll be the case, but I’m skeptical.

Primal Strike definitely got stronger but was the extra 3% to the already 35% damage penalty necessary?

Yes. I understood it backwards first time I read it.

My damage output, bearing in mind I’m level 60 and am only an occultist (45 points saved for the necromancer), I did 2.2k per tick and now I deal 5.3k per tick.

This is because of 1) the increased poison damage and 2) some very nice vitality damage added to bloody pox itself.

The actual dps might be slightly higher again due to the increased tick speed!

I’m so thankful because I feel like it is now in a good place to be used as a main skill

I understand the changes to Beronath exite a lot of people, as it opens interesting build paths.

However, doesn’t it leave a void when it comes to elemental melee? I was working on an elemental cadence battlemage and can’t find a near good enough replacement. I haven’t given it much time, so maybe there’s a less obvious aternative, but at first glance it seems that a build path with already little support got hit bad, losing what might be the only suitable weapon.

Am I missing something?

btw normal setting for raven is kinda bugged, you will lose the storm spirit aura at some point and never get it back!

-edit now it seems to be okay?

Actually even before the change for Elemental 1h Melee Beronath was BiS unless someone had crazy greens

I have noticed enlarged fonts at several places, like when you enter smugglers basin and such (A presence far powerful than you…). They are a lot more readable now, but why was colour changed from yellow to white?

Could an entry be placed in .ini file for this?
