I 100% concur. But Zantai (reasonably) prefers to make changes in increments. The PRM super buff was out of left field considering what usually happens. TSS and AAR are on my list for making a thesis to advocate further buffing.

The important thing at least is that AAR is certainly viable. You can get through campaign with it without feeling bad. There are issues with the concept of just keep giving it more damage until it’s good enough though. Given that’s it’s ranged and hits super quickly it could be a “knife-edge” of balance situation, where the boundary between it being great and not great is really thing.

Still, there’s plenty of room up before we can tell if that’s the case. Given its drawbacks I do feel it should be one of the better sources of damage in the game.

I doubt you’d be disappointed if you did.

With double devastation and all BIS items my dummy killtime is almost 40 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBiSuDgHLIw . AAR only over 1 minute, i give up when i run out of mana.

So, we have a skill that :
1)Hit only one target
2)Lock us in place
3)Require full dedication in both skill tree and itemization.
4)Require amulet slot to gain minor amount of Lifeleech.
5)Require a lot of investment in energy cost reduction to work.
And it still fail in one job its supposed to be good at - single target dmg output.

Is there a specific reason why there are so many Reduced Energy Cost/Reserve on spells and buffs?

Were players constantly draining the energy bar to zero before they realized they can use an energy drink to replenish it? And if they were hurting on their energy it’s probably because they didn’t put any/enough points in spirit and had every single point in physique.

Im a little confused. Isnt there suposed to be a new item that lets you enter ultimate with a fresh character? I been running though ultimate checking vendors but cant find anything.

That’ll only be available once FG drops. The merit tokens can only be bought from a vendor in the FG hub.

Not really paid attention to the item changes, since I barely have legendaries.
I thought concussive bomb would harm my Purifier, but the removal of the damage penalty coupled with damage change made up for it.
And the devotion search… feels GOOD
Also, I wonder, for the future, will concussive bomb get a visual update ? to show that it has lightning damage

What about the changes to Ultimate difficult? I waited very much that because completing the campaign three times is too grindy.
