Hello,

I finally got up to 36 characters in GrimDawn and the scroll list on the right became insufficient when i want to switch the characters. Most of the time I miss when I want to select a specific character and need to scroll multiple times the list.
I was wondering if it’s possible to develop an option to view on a larger window, eventually under a table/grid the characters.
Probably even something like it is developed already in multiplayer, when you want to join you have on right the list with the toon appearance and some details (also the character and how it`s clothed/effects has on it, helps in selecting in an instant).
Now imagine the multiplayer character selection as a 5x5 grid on screen :slight_smile:

(We can even go further and make some kind of “star” system to put character as favorites for easy selection)

It would make the selection much easier.

P.S: Or maybe it`s already a mod that fixes this that i didn’t found yet? However added as an option in the game would be awesome.

A search bar for the char menu would be very appreciated.

Im an altaholic. Scrolling through the list takes awhile. A quicker way would be appreciated. Ive mentioned before I would love a way to hard lock a char to a specific mod so I wouldnt misclick & ruin a char by going in the wrong mod. A way to click on the mod & just bring up those chars? Perhaps on the left a select screen that lets peeps choose a class, level or mod. & then show on the right the list of chars that fit.

Yes, I have over 70 game character saves, and I think this is a very worthwhile problem to solve. After all, this game has been around for almost 9 years.

this is absolutely needed.

and while we’re at it some better way to load larger amounts of chars is also needed. i suspect it’s a windows/file handle issue but loading and reloading all chars at the same time every time the game returns to character selection really is bad, i’ve resorted to manually curating my save folder.
