Grim Dawn's Last DLC - Let's Talk

Fangs of Asterkarn will be the last DLC for Grim Dawn. I somehow believe the main reason the DLC is taking longer than anticipated is part of technical problems but also adding more unplanned content. The technical problems is in fact the problem child Aetherials…

I’m excited for the new content but also the new UI, because this means maybe, just maybe we will get a bigger private stash and some other tweaked features on the character inventory.

What do you wish and hope for in this new and upcoming DLC?

Mine is:

  1. Hopefully allow us to choose which skeleton type to summon
  2. A summon wolve node in the mastery tree “Not item based” even though it is not a pet mastery (Hopefully, who knows, last, minute change of plans lol)
  3. The world map (Allow it to be a seamless graphical artistic design flow and not cut by DLC’s set-apart borders. I’m referring the Forgotten Gods, not ashes, ashes seamlessly flow perfect without any borders, so not sure why it should be different?

Im trying to find the topic about this, Z apparently said on Reddit some work on stash size was to be expected (probably because the DLC introduces new items).

Otherwise have you heard about our lord and saviour item assistant

i don’t know where you get the technical problems from, that would be speculation atleast compared to what devs have said
Z said they announced FoA way early in dev compared to before
He’s also been very open about the scope of the expansion and “feature creep” and polish
if you follow the dev announcement all these things have been freely communicated to us Fangs of Asterkarn Development Update - June 2025

this was already revealed to happen via item modifiers

moar cute non-combat pets and surprise secret celestial boss fights + hidden stuff to explore and find

Already been said that we’re getting a special tab for components/crafting materials and iirc that also we’ll get some more general tabs too.

Not sure what you mean by wolf summon not item based. Berserker will have the werewolf shapeshift and also wereraven. Those are the only “pets” you’re going to see in that mastery.

As for the world map, FG takes place somewhere far away from the base game/AoM/FoA so I doubt we’ll get a world map.
