I brought Grim Dawn Loyalist edition, which I believe it will include the expansion Ashes of Malmouth.
Unfortunately I can’t play it after it downloaded!
And ask me to pay for it again!!!
Can anybody help?
Did you bought the right thing? There’s Grim Dawn Loyalist Item Pack in steam which just has cosmetic items that were originally exclusive to Loyalist Edition.
I found my receipt, and I defintly brought the loyalist edition!!
Any tech support there?
You bought the $64.99 Loyalist Edition from Crate’s website? To be clear, the Loyalist Edition that includes the Ashes of Malmouth expansion was never available directly from Steam - you had to buy it from Crate’s website (or maybe GoG - I don’t know there).
The name for what was available on Steam was changed to “Steam Loyalist Items Pack” to better reflect the difference between it and the actual Loyalist Edition. The actual Loyalist Edition that includes the expansion is $30 more than the base game + Steam Loyalist Items Pack.
The dev team is in states and it’s night over there.

Did you have any previous editions installed? I had to uninstall my game, then reinstall it for it to work. Although I did not buy the Loyalist edition, but the expansion just wouldn’t work without a fresh install.
Assuming he did purchase the correct version I would first check to see if AoM is listed in his DLC on Steam. If not, next I would want to know if he is absolutely certain he applied the correct Steam key for the expansion from Humble.
Answer those questions first and then we can get somewhere.
Edit: and as noted above, if you only paid about $10 US then you don’t have the correct version. If you paid about $65+ US then you do have the correct version.

The expansion is a separate key, which is waiting for you on your Humble key page if you have the Loyalist edition.
