Many thanks Crate, you’re doing a fantastic job, as always. Can’t wait for the new content, be it expansion or “small” updates, we all love you more when that happens. Take us our money, you deserve it!
First post, just wanted to let the Crate team know how refreshing it is coming from other titles where there is virtually no update from developers and you guys doing it twice a month!!! What’s more is you inform us of what’s coming/in work - kinda makes you think about the way other dev’s treat their customers.
I’m only though Act 1 for the first time and having a blast, what an epic game - I will be supporting you guys in anyway I can and look forward to what you have in store for the future.
Great news
So much new loot and so little time and space. Looks awesome though!
Well the Crucible came out in August so presumably everything was okay before then? Have you verified the cache via Steam if that’s what you’re using to play with? Can you uninstall the game again and then install without the Crucible part and see if you get the same problems? Did you add any other programs to your computer during the break from the game?
As Belzak said if you’re the only one reporting the problem, then it’s most likely something at your end that’s causing this.
we’ll see any of those 2 new mobs in the rogue like dungeon? or nothing til expansion?
heh i think people are more excited to have bi-weekly updates again than the teaser on the new mobs
I loved these new enemy models, but I’m more excited about this:
I hope you guys add plenty of new lore pieces. I read all ingame books and really like them. Also would be nice if you added scripted encounters where you watch cool cutscenes. Like boss destroying some peasants before taking on you, or evil mastermind giving commands to his minions. You can learn from Blizzard the ways they deliver story in Legion expansion
The upcoming rogue-like dungeon was already mentioned as containing a decent addition to the lore:
I’m guessing by the looks of the imps part of the secret is dead babies. If I am right then Grim Dawn just got a lot more grim.
In the grim dawn of the far future there is only dead baby jokes.
really excited
Oh and devs, for the love of Jesus, dont ever add aetherial burning grounds in future zones. I mean the green ones that drain health. You have no idea how annoying it is on Hardcore characters when you dont know the safe route and trying to avoid those things like plague.
Even on SC they don’t really add a terrible lot to the game, I feel. Like yeah it’s vaguely interesting or at least expected in places like The Immolation, but for the love of god please make the damage aether (and thus resistable with AR gear). It’s such a pain in the ass to juggle potions & cooldowns just to make an attempt at finding my way (and losing xp if I don’t).
Will there be new masteries?
Will there be a new say chapter?
Finally there will be a use for aether resists…
Obviously yes to both in the expansion
come on crate! even if this expansion is priced at 100 bucks , I will still be buying it so that you guys can keep on bringing new content to this amazing game!
