“always two there are, no more, no less”. I think you are talking about the summoners. First the occultist with his demon and soon the necromancer with the skeletons. The Death and the Devil.
Two new classes confirmed?
Always two…
first expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 90
second expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 95
third expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 100
but that’s three expansions, not two !
yea, let’s see…
Always there are two sides.
-
light side:
first expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 90
second expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 95 -
dark side:
third expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 100
forth expansion: +2 mastery, level cap 200
now that’s becoming interesting i think you unveil the full sense of Zantai’s sentence, congrats !
on a more serious note, no word for 1.0.0.7 likely means thet it won’t come before end novembre, i guess we have our christmas gift^^
I also think there will be 2 new classes.
But I hope there will be more than new content, new features (transmogrification or wardrobe or sometic slots, shapeshifting…) and new modding posibilities. And also a better engine optimization would be cool.
The two new monster designs are looking good!
The Ugdenbog golem reminds me of my old designed necropolis golem, the rocks were replaced with old tombstones and graveyard architecture plus bones that were wrapped in the roots.
Designing those Aetherial monstrosities is probably an easy and fun thing as with the “flesh shaping” lore you can create anything you want, be it a simple mutated zombie or a robot-spider looking zombie with a cannon for one arm, and it will still fit with the faction. Also I am interested in the mechanics of the aetherial sentinel, hope it won’t be just a model change to the aetherial obelisks/terraformers/reanimators/dominators and his summoning style will be more interesting/unique then what we’ve seen before.
Won’t make assumptions about the Yoda quote, though I do have a few ideas in mind. Time will tell which one will turn out to be true
Those 2 new monsters look awesome. I love the bog creature and the sentinel is very creepy. Hyped class information!
Nice, 2 more Levels with 1 skill point each. (I guess the following next expansions will reach to 100, for a total of 15 added skill points.)
“Now, we’ve been hearing a lot of talk about cons and bad weather and necromancer this and devil that”
Just so people don’t get the wrong idea, I’m pretty sure he’s joking about how people should still buy Grim Dawn’s expansion in spite of its competition which will likely be coming out at the time from “Blizzcon” (cons), “Blizzard” (bad weather), Necromancer (Necromancer, duh), and Diablo 3 (Devil)
And not that the two new masteries will be Necromancer and Devil. Probably. …though a Devil/Cthonic mastery would be pretty funny.
True that. Also putting a necromancer mastery right now would be a dent in the story, imagine playing as a necromancer and going with Kymon’s Chosen. You are a necromancer that kills necromancers, being friendly with people that hate necromancers.
A necromancer mastery would fit in the lore. Also devil spelled backwards is lived.
To be fair it’s not necrophilia if they’re still moving
They don’t need the expansion to prove that. Blizzard lost it’s title when D3 got released, it was kinda-sorta vacant (maybe TL 2) but now GD and PoE share it. I personally would choose GD, but it’d be insulting to leave PoE out considering how good it is
yep, all references to Blizzcon.
Given the reception the D3 news got there, I am not too worried about it negatively affecting GD expansion sales Don’t think there was a joke about that in there though
What does PoE acronym mean? Pillars of Eternity?
i think Path of Exile
Path of Exile.
Edit: Ninja’d by Dikkiedik ofc.
Man that looks like a super fucked up mutated koala side note loving the new monster designs looking awesome!
