Zantai already mentioned no class will be called Necromancer. Furthermore it makes no sense as we already have Occultist, which is 70-80% necromancer.
Considering the current classes and the most popular class requests, one of the new classes will be heavy aether-based, one will rely on ranged weapons with ranged dw possibilities, and one may have some shield skills. The current classes dont fit into the classic arpg class templates, so I don’t expect the new class(es) to be trivial.
No,
this is a hint that the last devilest of the devils in Grim Dawn (read: last boss) of the expansion is a Necromancer that will have a Blizzard spell and he will be in a CONsecrated area.
I’d like to see an Aether Knight. Make it somewhere between an Aetherial caster and a Paladin, to cover both shield-based builds and Aether casters.
The other class has to be some sort of ranged class, for sure. The game needs a mastery with passive projectile pierce and projectile speed, badly.
Also, more importantly, I’d like FPS improvements so I don’t sit at 25 FPS everywhere despite having a computer full of components 10 years younger than the game’s engine.
Well, we know they have been working on it since at least mid-summer for sure (and I suspect even earlier than that). Have to keep in mind all the other stuff they’ve been working on in-between.
Right now the popular guess is Q1 2017. We probably won’t see Crate make any mention on it until they are sure themselves.
No way, if you want that then there are plenty of other games out there. GD is a blast the way that it is, and the devs have done a great job of supporting it and continuing to improve it over time.
Besides which, it doesn’t take too much micromanagement with most builds once you get decent gear.
If you are saying that pure masteries should be able to complete the entire content (e.g pure Soldier beating Ultimate), then no, it will never happen. The entire game is balanced around dual masteries.
If it isn’t what you are talking about, then nevermind.
