Right now shaman and occultist have only 2 pets ech. In tq there was nature tha have 3 pet instead of the classic one pet for maestry like earth, spirit ecc. A necromancer maestry wil be great for use more pet at once like a couple of skeleton/wrait for foot soldier + at last one tank pet like a zombie +maybe a mage support for ranged attak or pet support. Add an aura that freeze/slove enemey, some other skill like a bone trap and you have a perfect maestry that will fill the need for a strong sommonig maestry. For me the dualwiending pistol fit perfect demolitionist period. Inquisitor semes having already firepower witout traing to force a skill that don fit in it
This…Yes! how could I forget
8-th class - cunning oriented mastery?
Guys? Do you see those shinny ice spikes coming from the ground? I’m really glad that we get more elemental skills, and the visuals look awesome.
Agree with everyone, inquistor looks awesome! I agree with norzan and others, hope we don’t get a straight forward necro, been done to death! Hope for some thing with it’s own flavour! I wonder about the two Witches we meet! Inventor could potentialy be the most interesting!
This is just so cool !!!
Not as they don’t have the skills confirmed as actually happening or any stats for the skills, especially as whatever the skills are, some of them will change during the closed testing period.
As for the 2nd mastery it’s called “the gate master” and is trained by Rook…poor sod’s got to have something to do :D:D
Dual pistols, traps and elemental dmg then ?
It all looks totally awesome to me and that artwork…
All in all a perfect way to end Misadventures for this year !
Knowing Crate…I’d put a guess that they are some form of environmental damage and are not friendly to the player…even with the dead body… :p:p
Overpower your foes with secret words of power
Sooo…how are Witch Hunters related to Inquisitors? According to Scribe Osteram’s Notes, Inquisitors once partook in what can only be described as witch hunting:
The Three were never depicted in such a way, and besides, the witch gods were not known to embrace such open displays of devotion. They preferred the secret places, hidden from sight and the light of day where their followers could practice without the fear of the Luminari discovering their covens.
I was under the impression that the Imperium had stamped out all the heretics in their last bloody crusade across Erulan, over a century ago. The inquisitors were quite thorough given the catastrophic death tolls recorded. Surely nobody had survived to invoke whatever power was trapped within these stones?
BTW I love the extremely explicit mention of using the enemy’s powers against them. Somebody’s been listening…:D:D
Although if Mage Hunter consists of Arcanist + Inquisitor I would be very displeased at yet another intrinsic logical conundrum. Unless, of course, there’d be new lore explaining how “just because I use witch powers doesn’t mean I’m a witch” and perhaps “just because I use mage powers doesn’t mean I’m a mage.”
Or maybe, just maybe, there’d changes to existing class combo names.
As for the mastery itself - sounds cool, but would have loved for a ranged pierce damage focus. Inquisitors and crossbows ought to go together like peas and carrots.
Eighth mastery…maybe a Kasparov type? Although “Scientist” and “Inventor” don’t sound very dangerous. And none of the Inquisitor class combo names would fit with that. We’ve seen BL Deathmarks who wield mostly guns - so Marksman maybe? Don’t know how politically correct Crate wants to be with that (Markswoman/Marksperson). Plus that’d have too much mechanics overlap with Inquisitor if indeed the latter is the bonafide ranged mastery.
Given all the evidence, the only plausible candidate is the Farmer a la Douglass Oldbarrow. Pitchforks anyone?
Awesome! I can’t wait to try the new class out!
I quadruple-checked ISS (the core skill, w/o mods) on my Battlemage, and it does reduce Trauma while increasing burn/frustburn/electrocute damage. Something must be wrong
I love this new lightning effect that can strike multiple targets at the same time surrounding the player.
Will it be possible to make the same effect as the Conduit pylon from diablo 3 that strike anything nearby at the same time ?
Inquisitor + Warrior = Judge/Magistrat?
Inquisitor + Shaman = Paladin?
Inquisitor + Arcanist = Lector?
Inquisitor + Nightblade = Carnifex?
Inquisitor + Occultist = Ambassador?
Inquisitor + Demolitionist = Purifier?
How hard would that be?
Hey guys. Can’t wait to see the new class and the expansion next year. I hope Inquisitor will have really strong 2 hand range options. For the 8th class I would like to see some melee with shapeshifting skills, some ugly bad ass beast, but I think it won’t going to happen.Anyway great job guys and all the best in 2017.
The funny thing is that Pistol Wizards and Necro (if it ends up being the 8th mastery) builds are the two things that people have been trying to emulate the most since release.
Holy twins of Menhir, this is awsome really looking forward to the expension. New patch this week oow yeah !!! Nice to see new enemies in that background.
The new enemies are from the expansion next year and not this one, sorry
