Zantai confirmed it on stream. Check out the new maximum in this clip.
Was that confirmation, or just the number the current build is testing? Just seeing 55 might just mean that they’re testing 5 more, not that 5 more is for sure.
He also confirmed it towards the end of that stream, and to me it sounded that they have settled on this number. So, in average we will be able to add one more constellation to existing builds. Given that there will be additional T1 and T2 constallations, too, the expansion will shake up some builds anyway. Early Access (assuming it will happen) will provide us with a better understanding, if 55 devotion points will be sufficient. I think - similar to mastery points - Crate wants to retain a certain diversity for your devotion choices.
Highly doubt 15 levels are going to be that much of difference. I know between 75 and 85 there’s next to no difference and that’s 10 levels.
If they were introducing a fourth difficulty then yes, enemies would be a lot stronger. But i doubt they want to introduce a fourth difficulty unless it’s a Veteran option for Ultimate.
If 5 devotion points are confirmed, then it’s ok I guess. I was expecting minimum 10. Since the game so far is fairly well balanced with room for further improvements (except for Zantarin’s bullsit bolt, that one is a total bullsht) I’m confident they know what they’re doing.
It’s not just about levels. Have you played TQ ?
The second half of Act 4, the expansion, had much nastier monsters.
I hope it will be the same in this case and throw some really bad ass monsters at us.
Not really, act 4 of TQ was just as easy as the rest of the game. The only annoying enemy in that act was the Machae and that was because of the godawful way bows interact with OA and DA in TQ and there were always in groups of 4 or 5.
Machae mob is the reason why act 4 is the most challenging of all TQ acts. Bladedancers are serious threat if not dealt with immediately, and those hyena-like beasts around Medea’s Grove tend to be painful at times.
When you’re a god you can do more or less whatever you want, I feel like. I mean, who’s going to say otherwise?[/QUOTE]
Fair point, I’m just a bit weirded out by the intrusion of that kind of imagery in muh grim dawn.
Here is to hoping this sidecut is the only instance of the How to appear feminist on Twitter for Dummies all-American textbook in this expansion!
If you had top equipment yes it was easy. I allways played xmas mod to incrase mob density significantly. But that’s only because I had almost every item in the game, MI’s included. Anyway we’ll see:)
Xmax. My bad. But the bounty provided by the dense mobs could be considered Xmas
Nah, they’re just cuddle-buddies.
Thanks, made me laugh
aha
I wonder who the male statue is that is displayed in Arkovia, since he doesn’t look like any of the Arkovian gods.
See here for a few images: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32443
Probably King Rhowan’s.
Leviathan and Blind Sage seems to shift a little bit down to make up some space for the new tier 1 and 2 purple constellations which is awesome because if you have a non-pet non-shield build the path to the Leviathan is very wasteful.
I know that we are still a week away from the misadventure and perhapz am being impatient but hopefully they would unveil the title of the expac soon. having a named title should make some definitive news and should make a clear impression to potential buyers gaining more traction along the way towards the official release and at the same time this should give us solid hints of what the xpac is all about
for those who watched the latest stream, any hints from the devs?
is this coming with/in the expansions or in the next patch ?
edit:
“These Constellations will be coming with Grim Dawn’s expansion as new Tier 3 options, along with 9 other all-new Constellations. What powers do you think these divine beings have in store for you?”
fml I didnt realize there was text after pictures
Does anyone remember if the new Weapon Pool Skill - Necrotic Edge in the Necromancer line is locked to dw, 2h or anything else?
And what damage types does the WPS support?
