Seems like a ritual to rescue Ulgrim
In the ritual he calls Solael and Bysmiel but Dreeg has been left out.
He then proceeds to chant Ulgrim’s name along with another incantation and “Cairn”
After that a Loghorrean type entity pops up and this gives Creed (or us) the visions
Not sure what it was but it seems something powerful - maybe an energy source or some other arcane artifact that can help us rescue Ulgrim lies somewhere in Malmouth and we’re supposed to clean up the aetherials there before we can retrieve it
Or Creed has learned of the location of the Heir to the Throne and has sent us to retrieve him
Or something else, probably something else
Not yet though, it will be added after the expansion through one of the patches
I don’t know if that’s a vision or just a hard cut to another scene. I think it’s a reference to Nietzsche: “if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.” The void certainly seems to be looking back at us in the scene after our attempts to gaze into it.

(with i7-6700 and gtx 1080 I’m not sure what else could I buy to make top of fort Icon finally get to 60 fps) :rolleyes:

I’ve been on a GD break lately but if I recall I believe the performance “boost” should make that a reality for you and I only have a GTX 960 these days.

Stoked to get a date, but is there any estimate on what kind of time we’re talking about here? Are we talking midnight or mid-morning or afternoon? What time zone? I don’t need an exact time but an estimate would definitely help keep me from spamming refresh on steam until it shows up

On a serious note. Creed isn’t some cliched incompetent companion
- He escaped Warden w/o prior knowledge on aetherials
- He managed to earn Ulgrim’s respect
- He didn’t kill off Analsteria despite suspecting she might be not be entirely human
- He is probably the only one who has the required knowledge to tackle our enemies
- He is a member of the Luminari, they dealt with otherworldly threats long before the Grim Dawn
I know Ulgrim is badass, but Creed is nicely written as well

dunno, but I use a 390, ryzen 1600 and have no issues with fps at 2560x1440p
sure there are drops but overall its superb fps with current engine and with new renderer I guess it be really great.
new renderer is hype enough
