And I’m pretty sure she was being sarcastic - the winking smiley is a giveaway, if nothing else.
EDIT: Ninja’d.
Sry I am a sucker for jokes. I am the best friend to anyone who does jokes. They always work on me.
I remember now. It was griffonclaw I think called. Only the Crusader could have it and it’s a 1 hand flail. Anyway I am really happy of this mechanic of shield throw.
Will there be new devotions in the expansion?
Yes

(Provided you mean constellations.)
Devotion level cap is not going up though. It’s staying at 55.
I would never play, lest the wrath of a thousand tri-beers would come crashing down on me.
I dont see that as a bad thing!
Oh come on no one is brave enough? Just a tiny bit of spoiler info wont hurt your reputation guys:(
Things you can share for now:
- describe FG testing phase in one word
- describe shattering mode in one word
- describe new campaign content in one word( if applicable)
- describe final boss in one word ( if applicable)
- describe Oathkeeper especially the paladin class combo if applicable
1 to 5 - Word!
Stay tuned for even more spoilers in the GM on Monday and maybe even earlier if the devs do a stream on Friday.
“can”? you are toying with forces you do not seem to understand:eek:
On a more serious note back in AoM times Zantai announced in a misadventure the testing on/off status so i’d look forward to that
GM #123 to be exact.
Why not raise it to 60? Nothing wrong in that!
I VOTE FOR 60! 5 more is not bad.
Also can we get level up to 110? It would be nice!
This is not a democracy.
You are not the first to ask for this but Zantai said many times on forum and streams that it won’t happen.
It was pretty hard to create and balance the constellation map and every time the devotion cap is increased, you power can exponentially increase.
Believe it or not, some late game builds are just 2 devo points shy of being OP. Or sometimes just 1 point. This is not a coincidence.
I am fairly new here, so 2 or 1 shy from being OP? Like literally breaking the game already? I don’t like that.
I see well I might not see it but I sure see one thing not taken into account is that the endless dungeon no matter the OP built shyness thingy it matters little as the point is to be as OP as possible in order to go further into the endless dungeon.
Anyway a point of debate. Zantai may say things but nothing stops anyone from changing his mind at any argument given. I am sure there is something to convince him eventually. Who knows.
55 is the magic number. I dont want my paladin tainted with other powers other than holy ones. Having lot of points will tempt me to take the dark side of the map.
What they can do is create more devotions and alternative ones so it will create diversity
Which is what they’re doing.
Yeah that build that couldn’t get 3x T3 devos now can, etc.
If there is room for debate he usually says something like “we’ll see in time if it can be viable”. But he was pretty adamant when saying no to this every time. But this is not about being viable but about breaking the game.
As medea said below they will however increase the number of devotions to have more to chose from and have always improved upon the existing ones
A lot of people asked for devotion cap increase a lot of times and the devs have stood firm with their belief that 55 is enough.
From my point of view, 55 is enough and i say this after raging a few times because i needed one more point to have my desirable devotion route. 55 puts restrictions but it has enough for a variety of different routes. With 60 you could easily pick three T3 constellations and that would be ridiculous.
I would then recommend GD stash to solve the issue. 60 devotion and more is easily attainable through mamba’s magic;)
