i think two handede mace weapon need animation rework to.
because hammer and mace is blunt weapon sword and dagger is slash and pierec doing weapon animation but⌠2h mace and hammer animation by smite with oathkeeper weapon pool skill is someting wrong
How will this work with illusions? Will they use the animations of the base item or the illusion thatâs applied to it?

Perfection. Also i have noticed that when casting certain abilities (spells mostly) , the weapon our characters yield dissapears during the animation. It is like the character uses only his hands to cast the spell. Have you ever considered changing the animation so we can use the equiped weapon to cast the spell? I hope this makes sence.

No, that date is just another update of what they have in progress they would like to share
This is good but at the same time it discourages a little knowing that it will take so long, they have numced an update that will take practically a year later to be released, it gets a little tiring.
This is seriously cool! Makes it even more exciting to try out certain new builds in the expansion.
Also, will spears be made into their own weapon type? And if so, will they get a dedicated constellation like the other melee weapon types have?
It doesnât have to discourage you or anything, since they announced the expansion they were very clear in saying that it would come out at the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

Oh man, I think Iâll definitely give two-handed weapons a try now,
the only reason why I havenât made even a single char with two-handed weapon build is because how lacky (Iâm not sure if itâs the right word) their animations seem, their swings are not satisfying (or powerful) enough, and they all feel the same.

Something looks a little awkward about the sweeping motion - maybe when it hits zombies they can stumble in the direction of the swipe. They do already get âblown backâ in the second animation by some burst effect. Same lean-back animation would go well when any one zombie gets stabbed with the pointy end.
