Grim Misadventure #197 - Sounds of Asterkarn

That background/opening screen is gorgeous. I like the similar contrast between reddish firelight and cold blue sky/snow as it was the gloom of the swamp vs. the Aetherial fires in Ashes of Malmouth.
Can’t wait to listen to these soundtracks all the time while playing or just shopping in the town!

UI updates? Me LIKE!!! Super excited for the DLC!

Love these new tracks!!! Already my favorite Grim Dawn music! I cant freakin wait for this expansion!!!

That’s a nice looking UI for the main menu. Looking forward to seeing more of these changes to each UI, especially when playing.

Augh, I’m so ready. This title theme is gonna be stuck on loop for a while.

I second this.

Lonely Moon has become way too epic to play in a sewer.

I like the new OST for the most part but the main theme sounds too mellow. Expected something more intense.

Maybe it’s supposed to match the cozy mood/feeling of the main menu background.

Will you update resolution settings for Xbox Series X?

Looks amazing, super hyped!

Sounds good

HUGE production sound and LOUDNESS on these tracks! Amazing work on these! Very different mood and experience from the simplistic piano and guitar centric tunes from the original. When hearing Lonely Moon I’m expecting Creed to say “I’ve spoken with Korinia. She appears to be in charge of these people.” While some sewer creaking sounds are randomly going off.

Love the new UI. Anyway, is the team considering a new patch before it comes out?

New, but at once familiar. Fortunately I’ll have spare time again when this fully arrives.

And I thought GTA fans were so… um… meticulous about theories. XD XD XD

OST 1 - Did you invite John Murphy to compose?
OST 2 - Are these the melodies of the streets of Revachol?
OST 3 - A mix of Prince of Persia, 2 Borderlands, and something of my own.
OST 4 - STRAIGHT TO THE HEART!!!
Super!!!
No, seriously, did you invite John Murphy for the first track?!
