New class has been on grimtools for some time now so you can play around with it.
There is a trumpet(?) On the mountain top
The expansions for this game have been exceptional, and this one is dramatically more content rich than I anticipated it would be. Can’t be anymore hyped up for this.
Oh my, can’t believe I’m about to live in a post-FoA world…
Didn’t we already have this image with the « DLC resume » ? If im generous the only new thing are the 2 image of the map (if not already shown)
Thank you! I forgot to count Ravager’s brothers.
Nope, first time Zantai’s shown it.
FoA having double the item skill modifiers of AoM and FG combined was not something to expect reading. 1,800 modifiers is a ton of modifiers, the Grimtools theorycrafting is going to reach heights never seen before!
Hopefully pets like the Raven & Briarthorn will get to see some interesting modifiers that makes gameplay more interesting than “more pets = bigger numbers.” Hellhound’s Infernal Breath hitting twice was a really neat addition and hope to see more of that.
There was one before, but the numbers were much lower on a bunch of things iirc.
I’m speechless.
I’m drooling.
Obviously hyped AF.
Shut up and take my money!

Oh now we’re cooking with gas ! Or rather, ice.
Please add a map overlay pleeeeeeeeease

There is no frustration (at least on my side): If you get in the end the best ARPG out there the wait is an ongoing Hypetrain.
For me the fact about the 54+ Secrets is such a jewel! No other ARPG has this, and i love to check the map and found secrets passages even after several hundred hours of playtime.
For me personal Grim Dawn is my absolute Top beloved Game in the last 40 years of gaming. And specially ARPG’s is one of my favorite Genres and i have played not only the big ones in the last 4 decades. But nothing else hits the mark as GD!!!
And as said so many times before: Take your time! We believe in you (read Crate). I fucking love you for bringing another expansion for this awesome game!!!

I hope you understand it’s not going to be like POE2 WASD controls, which are explicitly run and gun controls.
Our WASD controls are intended more as an accessibility option, mimicking the controller. They are not going to create a new ranged playstyle.
Has the dev team ever considered adding an option to change the colours for each rarity of item? I’d love to be able to change things to colours I’m more familiar with so I don’t keep thinking a legendary is just an epic or that common green item isn’t a set item.
Regardless, I’m super excited for the expansion. I’ve had my fill of Lord of Hatred I think, and am thoroughly excited to let Grim Dawn consume me later this year! ![]()
Try this for colors (MIs, sets, damage types, etc):
Not what they mean though. Other games use a different colour scheme for common, magic, rare, etc, than GD has. They want to be able to change to that colour scheme.
Don’t know if it’s possible with the game engine, but I do know it causes some confusion with Titan Quest 2 because a lot of players have swapped to the old TQ1 colour scheme option so talking about the colour of an item in chat doesn’t make sense sometimes because one person is talking about a yellow item while another is talking about the same item being a different colour.
Rainbow filter is somewhat what they mean, as (I think) it changes Mythicals (?) to a lighter shade of the rarity, e.g., Mythical Epics are light blue and Mythical Legendaries are Pink.
In either case, Rainbow Filter does show that it is possible to do in a mod/localization files. Whether Crate wants to make some UI selection for the 20-ish colors the engine supports for text is another story.
As a nuclear option, there are also colorblind settings! ![]()
